Escape the stress of the city for this cozy cottage with beautiful water views. Relax with year-round lakefront access on Loon Lake part of Rideau lakes.

**No swimming from the property, as the lake is weedy. But excellent canoeing and stand up paddle boarding. There are beaches close by for swimming.

Only 10 minutes from the charming village of Westport, this cottage with laundry is a perfect peaceful oasis.

The cozy cottage was recently renovated, with artisanal beams, craft tiling and a warm wood stove. Heronview cottage has all the conveniences of home along with a wood burning fireplace, baseboard heating, and heated tile floor in the bathroom.

Enjoy the silence of the woods in winter and try to spot the local wildlife including deer, swans and beavers. In summer, be lulled to sleep by the sounds of crickets, frogs and the beautiful call of the Loon.

The cottage is on approximately 2.5 acres of land that's shared with the main house. It has a separate fire pit and dock for relaxing, or stand up paddle boarding and canoeing!
It's located off a maintained road and is approximately 50 feet from the main house.

This cottage is a 10 minute drive to Westport, 30 minutes to Perth, and 40 minutes to Kingston.

A canoe and 2 stand up paddle boards are available to use.

Oasis between homes.

Property met all our needs. Required temporary lodgings until our new home was finished. Cottage came with completely equipped kitchen, w/d, full bathroom and much more. Excellent stay.

Wonderful Relaxing Get Away

Two of us spent a few days at this beautiful little cottage on Loon Lake. We spent some time sitting on the dock in the autumn sun, watching the Blue Herron. The place was very clean with fresh new furnishings and everything one would need in the kitchen. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Our day trip into the beautiful and friendly Westport was such a pleasure also. Many thanks Karley.

Peaceful getaway

The property is modern and well equipped. I would not recommend it as a cottage for water activities. However, I presume the area offers various lakes’ accesses. The owners, who live next door, are very pleasant and helpful. The beds are very comfortable.
