Your host at Southerly Change Beach House is Sarah.
Originally from Pittwater in Sydney, Sarah moved to the glorious South Coast 9 years ago.
Sarah loves the lifestyle of unspoiled beaches and forests with the friendly arty community vibes of Moruya and has entrenched herself in the local activities on offer.
“We are so lucky here, Moruya supplies everything we need from locally grown seasonal produce, fruit, vegies, local beef, pork, chicken, locally baked good including amazing bread, local coffee roasters, breweries, distilleries and of course the amazing locally sourced seafood! What an amazing resource indeed!
We have a local regional airport here so quick flights to the capital cities are easy.
Canberra is an easy hour and a half drive to the National Galleries and exhibitions.
The bike paths everywhere are so sensible and the mountain bike tracks a big draw card for the area.
Two of my Special places are right here next to this Beach House.
Watching whales and seals from the viewing point here makes my heart sing!
Swimming at the beautiful sheltered Shelly Beach is one of the best places in the world surely! ( Both of these are literally minutes from your front door here .)

Iconic 1940’s Beach Shack in the ideal location across from one of the best Surfing, swimming and fishing beaches on the South Coast!
Walk out the front door with your surf board under your arm and wander down the path to the beach.
The famous viewpoint from the Headland here is perfect for Whale watching or enjoying the local seal colony frolicking off the rocks.
Your doggie will love the Dog friendly beach here too, and is welcome here.
Yet only minutes drive to the town of Moruya with a brand new level 5 hospital, regional airport groovy award winning cafes and quirky shops to explore.
Local boat ramp Preddies Wharf is 4 minutes away and this property has lots of parking for your boat. The fishing is outstanding round here!
Lovely bicycle tracks lead all around the area from our beach all the way along the riverbanks to town. So bring your bikes too. The Eurobodalla Mountain Bike network tracks are all nearby too for a bit more adventure.
Why not hire out a kayak or SUP nearby at Mossy Point while you are here.
