A perfect get-away for the weary looking to recharge. The place had a fantastic view of the lake, had everything we needed and was both cozy and spacious. We enjoyed canoeing, had the fire going against the evening chill, got some serious snooze time on the couch, and had no issues preparing hot meals. All rooms were very clean. The two of us found it to be a reasonably short drive to restaurants and gas, and enjoyed easy access to Bracebridge and Huntsville for touring days. (One small note: Be sure to bring a good flashlight or two if you’re unloading the car after nightfall. It can be fairly dark with the great tree coverage)
