We loved staying in this house! It is an old train station transformed into a fabulous airbnb. The hosts were the best hosts I've ever had. Would totally stay here again ____________________________________________________________________________ Julie
We absolutely loved our stay at the Station House! Susan was a wonderful host. She checked in periodically and let us know that she was available if we needed anything. I had mentioned that my partner and I were celebrating my birthday and there was even a birthday cake and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we got there. The house was charming and immaculate. It was clear that they spent lots of time and attention to making sure everything was sanitized and cleaned thoroughly which made traveling during these times worry free. The Gilford/Laconia area itself is super cute and there's lots to do. We went to the beach, ate yummy seafood and got to go to a drive-in movie. The fire-pit + s'mores fix-ins provided by Susan were an added bonus. Highly recommend!

The Station House was super clean and Susan is a wonderful host! She shared great tips for enjoying the area and she was readily available if needed. The location is fabulous if you are planning to attend a concert at the Bank of NH Pavilion.
Was phenomenal. We brought our dog. Susan made us feel so welcome. There’s plenty to do and she’ll help point you if you need suggestions. Place is very cozy. Fire pit with a bottle of wine was relaxing. Highly recommend here. Thanks again Susan.

The only reason I'm hesitant to leave a review is so this place stays available next time we're in town. Susan is GREAT and very responsive, she gave the option of checking in early and was on top of the one thing we brought to her attention. We'll definitely stay here again assuming it's not taken!!

Thank you for your great review, hope you can stay with us again
The hosts, Susan & Dutch, were welcoming and attentive. We had a quick question and received the answer within a few minutes. The thoughtful touches, Christmas carols playing when we arrived and the heat set at a comfortable temperature were just the beginning. They offered snacks, s’more fixings, hot chocolate, coffee fixings, games, a comfy bed - all items to help you appreciate the property. Two logs were left for the wood stove which to be truthful made the ambiance of our relaxing, getaway weekend more special. Such a unique and cozy property- we are planning a return trip already!
The Station House in Gilford is absolutely wonderful. So charming. We loved the history. It was comfortable and clean and very peaceful and relaxing. Just what we needed.

There is a reason this place has so many great reviews. It is really adorable, very comfortable, and in a great location. And the bed is amazingly comfortable. Hosts really go out of their way to make it a great place to be (robes, yummy treats). The backyard was great for our dog and the fire pit was so delightful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for everything!

We stayed over a long weekend for a concert at the nearby BofNH Paviliion - so close we could walk and avoid the traffic.
House is very comfortable and charming - Susan has thought of everything you might need - and it is there. She is a wonderful host - very flexible on check-in - and very helpful with guidance on local amenities. Recommend highly - we will be back.

The Station House was very cozy and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable. My only recommendation would be for the bathroom…very small and could use some TLC. We would definitely recommend this though! We truly enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed staying at the Station House. The decorations were great, and the home cozy and comfortable. It was clean and well stocked, and the host (Susan) was excellent at communicating. If you need anything, she is available, just contact her! It's a unique property with interesting history in a great location!

The property is even cuter than the pictures and the property owner put so many thoughtful touches in the home from complimentary snacks, coffee and tea to make-up removal towels and a fire pit ready to go. It is convenient to lots of great restaurants with great food and views, mountain biking and NH Pavillion for shows. All of which we enjoyed. We also were able to bring our dog who enjoyed the running around the yard as well as the car ride to/from. I highly recommend this host and this property!
