A meteor! Very cool! Yes - eagles, great sunsets and we also get to see fireworks from our dock or deck (which by the way is now brand new!!). We are continually trying to improve the home. We plan on buying additional / new bumpers for the dock to give even more protection! You are welcome back anytime!

Hi, Sorry to hear you think it was somewhat dated but we have poured tons of money into the home since we purchased it in 2020 (added central air, new furnace, new 80 gallon water heater, new furniture and bedding throughout, new lamps, etc.). The previous owner changed many of the windows, electrical, septic, added new cabin like paneling, etc. This Fall the entire deck is being rebuilt. The LR and BR furniture is only a few years old. This is a lake home, a cabin like home with updated furniture and area rugs. The kitchen is rustic, but very functional and you can have many cooks in the kitchen at the same time. The online images are exactly what the home looks like. Perhaps you didn't look close enough at them? Also perhaps the configuration of your party didn't work for you, but the home certainly sleeps 8 easily. There are two queen size bedrooms (4 people), a full room (1 or 2 people) and the loft sleeps 4. The two trundle beds in the loft can be kept as 4 single beds or be converted into 2 king size beds, thus 9-10 people. That doesn't even count the pull out couch for 2 more people. Although we can sleep more than 8 (11-12 to be exact), we have HOA and town restrictions so we keep it at 8. After reviewing the conversation we had online, it is obvious you didn't read the listing at all. Right at the beginning of the listing we asked that you do not put a booking request in until we are sure we are a good fit and you answer some questions, yet you put a booking request in anyway. We suggest in the future you carefully read the listings of homes so you know ahead of time what the sleeping arrangements will be and whether or not they will work for you. Thank you.

Jennifer, Even though we didn't feel the house needed the AC, we thought our guests would enjoy it. Glad you did. If you come back, you will notice a few other things as we are continuing to improve the home. For example, we just had 19 trees taken down on the property (some in front, some in back, etc.), making the view just a bit better. The fireplace will be fixed this November and with a flick of a switch, a beautiful fire will appear. it should help keep the home cozy in the winter as well without turning the heat on.
