This romantic private cabin suite sets amidst a larger cabin villa. You have your own private entrance, private porch and private accommodations. Cradled by a magical wooded area on a breathtaking 10-acre farm, this treasure of a suite boasts an open floor plan furnished to beautiful standards with a 25-foot cathedral ceiling lined with log beams. A stunning log-beamed wall as the focal point of the suite, and a plush queen-size bed in the sleeping nook, it accommodates two guests. The bed offers a tranquil night's sleep with soft luxurious sheets, luxury bedding, and fluffy pillows. After an epic day of guided tours, hiking or zip lining, guests can unfurl in the intimate 2-person Jacuzzi tub nestled in the full bathroom. Enjoying the relaxation will come easy with the modern facilities available.

Slipping on the plush bathrobes and sinking into the cushion-strewed plush sofa is an ideal way to end the day. The living room features a glass front gas fireplace that'll warm up the suite in the depths of winter and set the mood for a romantic escape. Complete with a flat-screen TV with over 200 channels and ideal nook to get lost in a novel, there is ample indoor entertainment for guests. This suite is equipped with a full kitchen that offers a microwave, a full sized refrigerator, toaster, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all cookware, utensils and dinnerware to make fabulous meals. Outdoors, there's a private porch perfect for quiet contemplation and admiring of the natural surroundings. Cabin was nice, kitchen small but perfect.

We live on a farm so our trip was about just getting away. Off the beaten path. We stayed in the cabin room and never left. Good married time. Kitchen was nice, items provided very nice. Only negative was the bed. Awful. Like sleeping in a hammock. It just needs replaced.

Beautiful place. Host were super attentive and caring. They went out of their way to ensure are well being as we were caught in a winter cyclone bomb , level 3 which meant we were trapped on premises unprepared but they took very good care of us. Definitely will be back.

Great place and great people

We wanted to get away for a couple of days and go hiking in Mohican park. We weren’t disappointed. The owners were very attentive but not noisy. Place was great. The only thing we didn’t quite understand, when booking, is that the cabin is 3 cabins in one. We stayed in Harmony which is the lower level next to another one. Then there is one more up top. With that said it is very peaceful, except when they are outside speaking. The bed was super comfortable and the tub is big enough for 2. Nice little kitchen and they even had coffee and microwave popcorn. So many positives with this place, one of my favorites

In April of 2017, the present owners, Laurie and Jim Mooney, decided to purchase Heartland Country Resort & Lodge as their “retirement” business for whenever they actually decide to retire. It was the second time they had considered purchasing Heartland and decided this was the right time to embark upon the realm of resort ownership. Together, the couple with their almost 20 years of business ownership experience and customer service, are taking the resort to a whole new level so it can continue to be a special place for others to experience and fall in love with just as they did.
