Best place to stay ! It was so relaxing and calming . The house had everything you possibly would need away from home ! The back yard deck was great and the fire pit was a great on a cool night! Christie was great too! Easy to get in touch w if had any questions ! Recommend it highly !!
Christie was awesome from the start! The house is really nice & welcoming. Everything was clean. Front porch is great, and the back porch and yard is even better! My dogs loved the fenced in back yard. The neighbors were friendly and we felt safe. We used Uber to travel into the city which was only about 10 minutes away. I will definitely stay again when I visit Charlotte.

Difficult location
First of all, this property was very clean and well maintained. The interior space that is open to the visitor is the size of a large hotel suite, is well appointed, and sparklingly clean. The deck is large and lovely. There is a fully fenced in yard for a dog.
The big drawback to this VRBO is the location. The neighborhood is fairly run down...maybe even unsafe feeling. Every time we left the house neighbors were peering out their windows at us or staring at us from their driveways. As we waved a greeting, there was no response. In addition, there are no nearby groceries, restaurants, or stores. It appeared that any shopping takes a trip onto the highway.
Due to this location issue, the rent is really too high. It’s a shame because the owner clearly does a great job on the actual property itself.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review the property! We were hoping your stay was a bit more enjoyable and understand why you may have these feelings.
Historic West End is the final corridor surrounding the city that is currently undergoing revitalization, and there are areas of gentrification and Urban development in progress on the outskirts of the community. We were hoping most of the projects would be underway but Covid has slowed progress.
This community is an older, established neighborhood and consists predominately of retirees which may be a little reluctant to give the warm fuzzies to strangers. They are really quite friendly and I apologize you did not get a better vibe from them.
For whatever reason, GPS puts everyone on the highway! We have a "Welcome" book with a listing of the shopping plaza, restaurants, and convenient stores within a 1-3 mile radius that does not require highway access. Thank you for pointing this out and we will make this more visible for future guests.
I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the property and you had everything you needed for your stay. The pricing is considerably less than VRBO actually recommends with comps in the area. Fingers crossed we will be in full swing by spring with more attractions nearby!
Please consider us in the future if you return to the Charlotte area and thank you for your stay with us!

This home is very nicely decorated and maintained. We felt right at home as soon as we got there. The outdoor space was really nice and made for a relaxing place to hang. We brought our 2 dogs and felt like there was plenty of space for them and having the fenced yard made the stay much easier. Christie thought of all the details to make our stay nice. Would definitely book again.

Why they chose this property
I recently purchased this home after downsizing when my daughter married. I love the vibe of this place and the peace and serenity it invokes. I felt it was too good not to share with others! I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I do.
