Most beautiful cabin we ever stayed in, very clean as it was beautiful, enjoyed our children on our Easter stay, will return in the up coming visit to Broken Bow Carol was a great host, she covered our every need and made our stay very pleasant
This house was perfect for our post-Christmas trip! Beautiful secluded location, but super close to both Broken Bow and Hochatown amenities. We loved the patio and can’t wait to come back in the summer to use the pool too.
The cabin is in a beautiful setting surrounded by tall pine trees and was very peaceful and relaxing. Hearing whipper wheels singing at night was amazing. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the host’s excellent communication throughout the stay. Early check in was also a nice touch and much appreciated.Overall, we enjoyed the property and had a good experience. There were a few maintenance and housekeeping items that could use attention, including an outdoor fireplace feature that was unavailable during our stay. We also noticed a few areas where cleaning could have been more thorough, likely due in part to the early check-in accommodation.Even with those minor issues, we enjoyed our visit and would recommend the cabin to others looking for a relaxing getaway in the woods.
We enjoyed our stay very much it was peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful house, and beautiful views. Would definitely recommend staying here of you get the chance.
This was our first trip to Broken Bow and we had a great time in this cabin. The house was great and it was very convenient for us with having children. The host were very responsive and made sure that we were able to get in the cabin. We had 7 people (5 adults, 2 kids) and it was enough space for our group.
The Bear Trap is secluded and a great place to stay. Be sure and read everything as we missed the pool was not opened. It had everything we needed to cook meals. The biggest complaint is the road that leads to the cabin. We had two trucks and I would not drive a car to get to the cabin. There was a medium size wash out and glad we had 4 wheel drive. I did see cars going up to the other cabin but I would not take our Lexus on that road. I reached out to the owner about the road before the trip but got no response. I had a couple of questions while we were there and they were answered immediately. The place was clean, beautiful and a great place to rest. National park was very close by and the hiking trails were nice.

Thank you for the great review. I’m sorry for not communicating about the roads when you reached out. Not sure how I missed it but I’m sorry that I did.
And yes, the pool opens mid to late May depending on the weather. We do have it labeled at the beginning of the property description.
Come back and see us thanks again
Fantastic home and experience! Nice and secluded but not a far drive off the main road. Beautiful lot, tall trees everywhere. Super peaceful and the home was very clean and had every amenity you would need.
Everything was great! Very nice layout on the house would be great with kids. Very secluded! Only issue we did have was with the hot tub having cans floating in it….

MC. I am sorry for the cans in the hottub! The hottub is emptied and cleaned before every stay, but I certainly hate to hear there was a can in there. Please let us know next time, so we can make sure to address any issues ASAP. Thanks again.
Took our grown children and grandchildren for 4th of July. We rented two different places and would meet up at Bear trap and grandchildren had a ball swimming and eating. We cooked outWe took them kayaking State park Wonderful time
The kitchen was great. If we rebook we would definitely take our own knife set for cooking. Lots of extra tools that are great in the kitchen--could use a knife sharpener. Our guests took advantage of the hot tub and loved it. Dined al fresco one night under the stars--it was wonderful.
Great location! Next to Beavers Bend Park. Beautiful property surrounded by tall pine trees. We enjoyed our stay.
