"BEACHCOMBER"- A Gem on Lake Erie 120 Feet of Private Frontage and Beach

The Home is Open to you and your guests!

BEACHCOMBER- A 6 Bedroom, 3 Full Bath, 2 Story Sleeps 16 plus Additional Trundles for overflow!

Beachcomber is a Lake Front home, with it own patio, and private beach. The Entrance to the beach is to the west side of the home.

The Patio is very spacious, and a New Patio was added that is elevated for Viewing and a New Firepit. There is seating for 20 plus on the patio, and there is a Gas Fireplace table, along with a Dining Table with chairs, and 2 more Round Dining tables, along with 4 Adirondack Chairs! We provide a Full propane tank at check in. You need to replace it if you run out!

The Dining area is very spacious with seating of 10 or more! Look at the pictures!
The Living room is very nice with lots of space for all !

Beachcomber is one of 5 homes available in Sand Beach, a 1920’s gated community. There is one way out, and one way in! It is bordered on the South by a Serene Marsh with active wildlife, and on the North by Lake Erie! Armor stone protects the front of the home, but there is a sandy beach and entrance to the lake just a few feet from the side door!

Beachcomber is next door to Beach Nuts, a 2 story home just being added for 2023. It is completely remodeled and can sleep over 12 additional guests! Just Ask! And it connects to Beachcomber by the Beach Access lot.

The Pictures show many of the features. Beachcomber is completely remodeled, and has a five star review from every guest! Many of the guests return each year, and it books early. The Home has a large capacity washer and dryer, central air, and internet/cable through Spectrum TV utilizing Roku TV. Amenities include all sheets and pillow cases, and beach towels and bath towels. Every Room has a TV!

The Kitchen is extremely well stocked. There is more than enough cookware, and each guest comments how well stock it is! We even have a Crockpot!
Three of the Bedrooms are King Size Beds, and are extremely comfortable. All are on the first floor. The Bunk Bed Room is off the laundry area and has two bunk beds with a trundle under each. Two Full Bathrooms with walk in showers!

The Second Floor is two full queen bedrooms, with a Twin Bed with Trundle under each. The Second floor has a full bath, and a second family room with Couch and TV. Its great to get away at times!
BRING YOUR OWN: Food, Plastic Silverware, Paper products, shampoos, etc. You should have ample pellets for the laundry and dishwasher, but bring your own if you run out!
Some spices are provided, but you should bring your own needs.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Make sure that you place all of the furniture in the house and outside on the decks back to the original position so it’s ready for the next guest
Make sure that you leave me a five star review. It’s very important for all of us in this industry to have good reviews and I hope that you enjoyed your stay and you will do that.
Have a safe trip home the instructions for checkout are also in the house
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We have stayed in another property owned by Ted last summer. We chose beachcomber to have one more bedroom. This was perfect for our large extended family. Room for everyone and it had everything that was needed for a great Thanksgiving getaway. Great views, comfortable beds and furniture, tons of dishes and gadgets in the kitchen. We had a great time and even got to see the beach when the winds blew the lake to the eastern end. We've already rebooked it for late spring.

This was a great property: Nice, large house right on the lake as advertised. Ted was super responsive, friendly and available if we needed anything! There is a beach within walking distance, but we were hoping it would be a little more sandy, and just a head's up there is a nuclear power plant pretty rather close to the house as well.

Great vacation home for family. The highlight was the private beach where we spent most of our time. Set up a Shibumi just like on an ocean beach. My son and I beached our two fishing kayaks. Fun to just roll up to the beach and hang out. Waded by the rock point inlet to marina and fished. Also fished on the shore of the inlet where we had our 3, 8, 10 and 12 yr olds caught bluegills, bass and white perch one after another. Went to cedar point and water park which was only 40 min away. Fun week.

Great place for a large family

We wanted a place big enough for our large family of 11and this was it. All rooms were good size and beds were very comfortable. The area is not touristy which is a bonus and the views of Lake Erie are spectacular. Ted is a great host and we will be booking this place again.

Plenty of room/space for 4 families (15 people). Furnished nicely. Wasn't able to take more advantage of the outdoors since it was unseasonably cold. Dishwasher and toaster took some figuring out - posted instructions would be helpful. Nice place.

The pictures don’t do the property justice. It is very nice with lots of room - spacious bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses, nice kitchen and a great kitchen table and living room couch for discussions with friends. Perfect place to get away. And of course the view of the lake, sitting on the back deck.

Sand beach is a private community and is very historical from the 1920s when there was a big dance hall at the entrance.

If you have your own boat or golf cart you may bring that with you and use that on the private roads within the community.

There are several recreational areas inside of the community for children

You may enjoy going to Cedar point which is approximately 30 miles away or you may visit many of the local eateries including Porky’s Pizza Trof, wild wings restaurant or drive into Port Clinton where there is many options available to eat

As well there is a ferry that goes from Port Clinton to put in Bay so you can enjoy daytrip’s to the islands

On a very rainy day you may consider going to the casino in Rossford which is approximately 30 miles away
Great to walk in , nearly a mile stretch of Beachfront adjoins this home.

Marina is less than 1/8 of a mile away, and a boat slip can be obtain for a nominal fee.

There is a Dollar General store for basics, and a Walmart to the west and east, about 15 miles away! Oak Harbor has an IGA store, and Jacks Superette is a great place to get meats to grill. About 5 miles west.

Eating: Porkys Pizza....1 mile. Wild WIngs Rest. .25 Miles, and check out Lagoon Saloon or Port clinton for great food.
Also try Put-In-Bay, Cedar Point ! or a great Fish place called Tackle Box 2 in Fremont, Ohio.
Gas: At the Marathon right at the entrance to the beach!
Charter? Just ask. I will recommend several!
