Great house in a fabulous location. We six women loved the gathering spaces, the proximity to public transportation(147 bus to downtown was easy with lovely views of the lake and parks), and easy access to the park and beach 1/2 block away!)

Beach towels & chairs provided! Made for an easy beach day & walk a block to the spectacular Lake Michigan. Shiny new bathrooms made it comfortable for multiple guests, excellent support from hosts as lock box had been moved, but they responded in minutes to direct me to new location. Great layout for family chilling & grilling!

The location was fantastic! So close to a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan. And the host provides beach towels and beach chairs - which made it so easy. 7 of us all had beds to sleep in and we loved having 3 bathrooms. Hosts were great to deal with. Would have appreciated a bit more attention to the cleaning. Overall a great experience.

This was the perfect home and location for a celebration of life event we were holding for our father. Very well equipped and comfortable. I would suggest a keypad for the entry doors and garage which would have made things easier for our group. Gina and Keith were excellent hosts.

Wow, the home is absolutely amazing! It’s a lovely walk to one of Lake Michigan’s most hidden treasures, a beach not like many in the city. The hosts, Keith and Gina, were fantastic. They were so kind, attentive, and honest, and it was easy to get answers to any questions we had. We arrived much later than expected. In the dark we couldn’t see the lockbox. Gina was there in less than 5 minutes!The home itself is gorgeous. The vintage architecture is beautiful, and there’s so much natural light. The decks outside are more than we needed. With large trees canopying the porches. The lake providing gentle breezes making it feel so comfortable and relaxing. Outstanding

Host was great and addressed any concerns appropriately. Directions on check in/out and other procedures were clear. Being an older home be aware AC is window units. Also research parking as it is a busy city. The host provided daily street parking stickers but availability for my oversized vehicle was negligible.

Keith & Gina were wonderful hosts! Location was perfect. Easy walk to Red Line for access to all we wanted to do. Beach & Lake Michigan were steps away.

Wonderful Location

This is a super cute house in a convenient location to the beach. Would definitely recommend use of the garage as street parking can be limited and tricky. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and space. Host was very accommodating.

The house was spacious, and the hosts were very accommodating with parking and communication. There were some slight plumbing issues, that were handled right away and did not affect the stay. There were AC units in all bedrooms, and the location is unbeatable with access to the beach.

Great Group Accommodation

Fully equipped and comfortable for our group of eight. Situated on block from beach and four blocks from the red line. The host was very prompt and attentive. Great stay.

Amazing Place

We had an amazing stay at the Urban Beach House! It was a beautiful house with plenty of space for us, including lots of outdoor space, and just a three-minute walk to the beach. The hosts were super responsive and helpful as we were getting settled in as well. We would definitely stay again!

Beach feel in the city

What an awesome home base to share with family while exploring Chicago’s sights. We had a wonderful time sitting back and relaxing in this beautiful, comfy home. Highly recommend staying here, especially with the beach one house away!

Cozy and excellent location

We had a wonderful family stay. The house is very comfortable. Having the lake down the street was amazing. It's an excellent location for getting to Loyola and Northwestern. The house is very tastefully decorated and the hosts were always helpful. The garage, in spite of the extra charge, was a massive help. Great house!

Fantastic Vacation Location

Me and my family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home filled with character and perfect spaces for fun and comfort! Its literally steps away from loyola park and beach. The neighborhood is bustling with beach goers; there's everything you need within walking distance: stores, shops, restaurants, bars. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Rodger's Park Beach House

Well appointed and nicely laid out house. Quiet neighborhood, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Beach is a 1 minute walk from front door. Beds very comfortable.

Perfect graduation weekend

My family and I stayed at the Urban Beach House for my son's college graduation. The house was ideally located in between Evanston and Chicago, where we did most of our activities. Being near the lake was also a plus for morning walks. The house was nicely appointed with a great backyard patio. We enjoyed our stay very much.
