Nestled in a pine forest with 90 feet of frontage at the end of Birchwood Bay on beautiful lake Hamilton Arkansas This unique 4+ bedroom 3.5 bath is close to Oaklawn Park Horse racing and Casino, shopping, Garvin Woodland gardens, mineral baths and so much more. The home sleeps 10 friendly and has sit down meal seating for a dozen or more. For those of you who need an office, there is a great space overlooking the back deck and the lake. I prefer staying here than my own home.

Sad to give this truthful report! We are a party of 2 Senior couples who were looking forward to spending time on the back deck overlooking the water. However the Hot tub is old, the heater didn’t work so the water was cold! The outdoor furniture and deck was covered in dirt and pollen. We contacted the host immediately to report the issue! James responded “I’m 80 years old and doing the best I can”! The hot tub issue was never resolved. The next morning we contacted James again about the condition of the property and we never got a response! Please be aware the Property is very neglected, deteriorating and not what you see in the VRBO pictures, This property is extremely dirty, bad enough that we did not even want to put bare feet on the floor, furniture had stains that you wouldn’t want to sit on, mold in upstairs shower, cobwebs, fur balls, the doors are so dirty you don’t want to touch them. Needless to say it was very disappointing! Not to mention the amount of money we spent to find these conditions! In our humble opinion this property needs a management company, Lots of TLC, and updating! On a positive note the shower had hot water. Would Never stay here again and we would have gladly made other accommodations if we could have been able to get a refund!
Custom built home with a great deck. Home is nestled in a quiet cove. Owner was prompt to replies. Very peaceful setting. A minutes drive to Sam’s Pizza, bar and restaurant. Big screen TV is nice. Hot tub was enjoyable.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Worst vrbo ive rented
First of all i picked this place for the hot tub and it was outdated and only kinda worked the first day.The house had dirty sheets and only one roll of paper towels. No blinds on any windows and the upstairs rooms for not very secure for kids to sleep up there has a door with small lock and no blinds. No broom so we couldn’t even keep a clean floor while visiting. One tv in the whole house and internet was lagging a lot. No out door playground and the game room is a bunch ofold nasty chairs and a pingpong table. Also the game room has a bunch of junk all over for kinds to trip and like 3 closets have junk hazards in them. I layed good money for the house and it was a huge disappointment.
The location was good for visiting Hot Springs National Park, Oaklawn and Garvan Gardens. It worked well for group of 4 couples. Only negative comment would be that it needed a good deep cleaning, base boards, walls and cabinets needed washing badly
Location was excellent. Short drive to all the places we wanted to see. Love that we were provided with fire log starters and plenty of firewood to burn along with other basics that you usually have to buy yourself (trash bags, toilet paper, soap). Loved the layout and spaciousness of the house Property could use some updating and deep cleaning. The hot tub was also not functioning properly which was very disappointing.since it’s one of the reasons we choose this location.
My family and I traveled from Texas to stay near my parents in Hot Springs during Thanksgiving week. The weather was very chilly and windy, and the lake was down, but otherwise it was absolutely gorgeous. The fall colors lingered and the leaves crunched as my kids played in the yard. The home is very well maintained and has a lot of character, with brick floors and exposed beams. Our kids absolutely loved the house, played hide and seek, ping pong, and hanging out on the comfy couches. The kitchen is reasonably outfitted, the most convenient item being a large air fryer which is a must with small kids! This is a large house, with a kitchenette upstairs (and its own separate entrance), which makes it an ideal place to stay for a family gathering. The location is perfectly situated on the lake, close to one of the main roads in Hot Springs, but far enough back that it’s supremely quiet. We dream one day of owning a lake house in Hot Springs just like it, but will settle for booking again!
Good place to stay for friends visiting the National Park, easy to get to Central Ave. attractions. Very easy to get to beautiful Garvan Woodland Gardens. Nice spacious living area open to the kitchen.
We throughly enjoyed our stay! We did most of our visiting and relaxing on the back deck which supplied a gorgeous sunset. The kitchen was nice and had a wrap around bar with seating . It was fun sipping on a glass of wine watching the meal being prepared . Cleanliness and yard maintenance could use a little
attention but we still give it a 5 ⭐️
Our family enjoyed our time at this home! Very spacious, 4 bedrooms and three and a half baths, perfect! We had everything we needed. The popcorn machine was a hit with our 6 year old grand daughter!
Great house - beautiful property with a nice view, lots of room inside with a big patio & hot tub overlooking the water, and James was a great host. Was ideal for our annual guys trip, but would also be ideal for couples with kids. Unlike some places I've stayed where you pay a cleaning fee but still have to follow 50+ steps before you check out, everything was very simple here; clean up after yourself and take out the trash.
The house is beautiful. Owner/James explained building it himself. The brick flooring, dark wood floors, gorgeous windows, massive level deck- we want this house. Boating w raft was the kids favorite. Close to grocery store & WalMart. Walked around Hot Springs Natl park & ate at Bubaloo’s- super cheap. Went up tower & drank mineral spring water. Here for 5 days and spent most of our time at the house because it was lovely, so much space for 6 of us. Games at table over looking water. Want to come someday! Super clean & well taken care of. Thank you James!!!
This was the summer getaway we were hoping for! The home was plenty big for our entire group to spread out and relax. A quick drive to everywhere that we wanted to go in Hot Springs. Jim was attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!
We enjoyed our stay here! The house was perfect for our family of 6. The ping pong table was a hit. We had some great family tournaments. Dad won! Being able to use the boat was an awesome bonus at this property and a fun experience for us.
The house was perfect for what we needed. We loved being on the lake and being able to rent the boat for a day. The owner was very communicative and came early one morning to set everything up for the boat. Great trip!!
It was a nice property. We enjoyed our stay. It was close to town, which made it nice. We thought it could have been a little cleaner, but overall a good place for family.
This was our 2nd time staying here. We love everything about it. It’s spacious, great location, clean, and has everything you need including games, ping pong, popcorn machine, tv, and boat rental. Jim couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Highly recommend.
