Rodent infestation and repairs needed
Pictures of the property had us fooled. There are four bedrooms with 2 kings, 1 queen, 1 full and two twin beds. The kitchen is large and the dining room area was also large. Now the downside, we had booked 5 nights, on night three we noticed a cupcake partially pulled out of the container with some of it eaten and crumbs on the floor of the dining room. Night 4 we found mouse or rat droppings in the living room, we followed the trail and found lots under the love seat with holes in the bottom of the furniture where something had been chewing. Then behind the TV we found our loaf ofbread that was pulled out of the kitchen and eaten in the living room. There was also an area by the door to the patio where it looked like a critter dug its way in or out. The house needs some general upkeep, the hot pads had burned holes in them and were stained, the bathroom upstairs only had a lightbulb as a fixture, no cover. The upstairs bathroom shower head is maybe 4 ft off the floor of the tub so if you are tall, good luck washing your hair. The smoke detectors had been removed from the bedrooms, the ceiling up stairs in front of the bathroom has Sheetrock removed a piece of board up there. There is trim missing in various places and the hot tub skirting needs fixed. The patio smells like smoke but inside does not. I messaged the owner about the rodent problem and we left a day early because of it. She agreed to refund my last night that we left but I have not received the refund yet.

Spacious Home with Great View
The home and the view were great. But, even though it's advertised as lakefront property with use of canoes and kayaks, we were informed the day of our check in that the lakes too low to actually use those items as advertised

I am from California. I fell in love with Arkansas green woods, the lakes, mountains, and the friendly people. Me and my 5 children moved here in 2000. WE lived in the house for 5 years. It is a great kid house. I currently live in an apartment on the property. I am happy to assist any way I can

Why they chose this property

The lake is beautiful and it is a quiet neighborhood on a flat dead end street. great for walks and riding bikes fishing, swimming, relaxing in the Hot tub, playing on the canoe or kayaks.

What makes this property unique

I love sitting on the enclosed porch looking out at the lake and hearing my kids play. Or sitting in the hot tub looking out at lake or up at stars with a refreshment on a cool evening.
