Burro Day Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed the home. Bill is an excellent communicator. Plenty of room and although the road can be bumpy, easy to get back into town for any supplies.

We loved our stay! The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The thoughtfulness of some of the things in the cabin really impressed us. We’ve stayed in several different places but we feel the owner goes above and beyond with all the little additions you don’t find in most places. Everything was clean and tidy and we had no issues.

Luxury base camp

This is a great vacation home. It has everything you might want and then some, including being near to the grocery store in Fairplay yet far enough from roads to be very quiet. We used it as a base for day hikes around the South Park, especially well situated for trails in the western and northern ranges of Park County. The home is good for so much more - we barely used half of it.

Great mountain retreat!

The house was beautiful and very clean. Had everything we needed for two families to hang out and cook our meals. The deck is an added living area in itself. Communication from the owner was easy and he was extremely responsive in answering a couple of our questions throughout our stay. Would absolutely return to this location!

Awesome cabin with all the amenities. Beautiful surroundings and great location in close proximity to town and lots of outdoor activities. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Vacation Cabin

We enjoyed our short stay here so much! The cabin was beautiful and extremely clean. It is so peaceful and quiet with several decks to use to enjoy the wonderful scenery! The location was very close to downtown Fairplay and a short drive to Breckinridge. We wish we had more time to enjoy. Our host, Bill, was extremely responsive and helped to ensure that our stay was wonderful! So thankful for his kindness!

Wonderful place!

If there was a way to give this more than five stars, we would definitely do it. We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The location is great, beautiful mountain view from the front balcony, everything was very clean, organized, fully stocked with all things you might need to enjoy your stay to the fullest. The wood burning fireplace downstairs is the best thing to enjoy after a day's hike. Beautiful place! The owner, Bill, was very nice and helpful. He provided extensive details about the home and following his suggestion about turning all lights off and enjoying the night sky really paid off as we were there during a meteor shower and the view was spectacular! We couldn't have asked for more and everything made for an extra relaxing and enjoyable trip. We would definitely love to be back to this place again!
