* Queen of the South” is a private 3 bedroom, 2 bath chalet located in exclusive Chalet Village, about 3 miles from traffic light #10 in downtown Gatlinburg.
* Only 5 minutes away from the main entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
* Only 2 minutes away from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Lodge or just walk 3 minutes and take a free shuttle.
* Only 15 minutes away from many fun-filled attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (museums, go karting, restaurants and lots of shopping outlets).
* We are just a short 5 minute walk to the Club House with swimming pools, tennis courts, arcade, football, hockey table, gym, tennis court, and even a play ground for the kids (club houses are typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and our guests will enjoy free access).

Cabin Description:
The main level has 1 bedroom with a king size bed + 1 full walk in shower bath.
Large living area with cable TV, a pool table, darts and Jenga games for group or family fun and a lovely wood burning fireplace (available only during winter months - starting in October).
The fully equipped kitchen is complete with all the necessities including stainless steel full size appliances —refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, coffee pot (Dual Keurig) and microwave; plus pots and pans, plates, and utensils, amongst others. Of course there are many terrific restaurant selections, from BBQ to fine dining just minutes away.
And if your are into BBQing yourself, there is a big charcoal grill in the premises.
Upstairs there is one bedroom with king size bed. Kids will enjoy the FUN of their own private bedroom with two bunk beds (sleeps 4) + 1 full bath with bathtub. Baby gate on premises. Each bdrm has a private balcony to sip coffee in the morning enjoying the birds singing and the woods seclusion.
The loft area has a TV and Xbox One where you can access your own account and enjoy your favorite game online.
Whatever your dream getaway experience is, you can enjoy them all here and make your own mountain memories that will last a lifetime... Enjoy the beautiful Fall foliage, a White Christmas in front of the fireplace, a wonderful Summer and a delightful Spring. FAQs
Will there be plates, utensils, pots & pans, etc. in the cabin?
Yes, the kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of plates, cups, mugs, utensils, crockpot, pizza pan and pots and pans for your convenience. There are also 2 courtesy trash bags provided for the kitchen, 2 dishwasher soaps, liquid dish soap and 1 roll of paper towel. We apologize, but as per health department rules we cannot provide spices, cooking oil or other condiments due to potential allergies.
Is there a grill?
Yes, there is a charcoal grill just outside of the front porch. As it is customary in the area, charcoal and lighter fluid are not provided. Use of the grill will depend on City of Gatlinburg advisory, as in times of high risk of fire they will put a ban on grilling, fire pits, fireplaces, etc.
Are sheets and towels provided?
Yes, sheets are provided on every bed. Towels provided according to cabin capacity, hand towels and wash cloths are provided in each bathroom as well. As it is customary of the area, you are welcome to bring additional towels for the hot-tub.
Are toilet paper and other toiletries provided?
Bathroom: 2 courtesy rolls of toilet paper are provided per bathroom as well as bars of hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion, make up removal and body wash. In addition, one small starter laundry detergent.
Kitchen: 2 dishwasher pods, dish soap and sponge. Other toiletries are not provided
Are pets allowed?
No pets or animals are allowed inside the cabin at anytime. We are pet lovers, however, also respectful and sensitive to other guests allergies.
Are there TVs and cable?
Yes, master bedroom upstairs and living room/recreation room features a large HD smart TV. You can also login to your own Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and YouTube accounts on each smart TV.
Does the cabin have any games or activities?
The cabin has a pool table, additionally, there is a an Xbox where you can use your login and continue playing your favorite game. There is a dart game and Jenga in the living room area. Some board games and playing cards are provided as well. There is also a 5 person jacuzzi on the deck.
What are the roads like to get to the cabin?
It is very easy to get to the cabin as the roads are wide and paved. They are taken care of by the city. Our driveway is as friendly as they get! And you will see this as you drive and compare...Parking is a flat gravel with straight access to the cabin.
Are there bears?
Yes! We have bears roaming around the area and see them often. While they generally do not interact with people, please use extreme caution if you see a bear and please do NOT feed them. Maintain your distance and do not run. Ensure trash can is properly secured to avoid bear “trashing” the premises.
Trash Pick Up
Trash pick up is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We have a bear proof latch and as long as you make sure it is closed correctly you can take it out any time. Trash bags and other essentials are provided just to get you started, which is customary of the area. Again, ensure trash can is properly secured to avoid bear “trashing” the premises.
Is the cabin close to nearby attractions?
Yes! The cabin is close to Gatlinburg and you will be less than a 5 minute drive down to the action. Only minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg, Ober Gatlinburg Ski Lodge is 2 minutes aways or walk 3 minutes and take a free shutter. The cabin is also just 5 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park as well as the new observation bridge, the largest in North América
Is smoking permitted?
NO. This is a smoking free cabin and no smoking is allowed inside the cabin nor on the deck. Smoking must be away from the building in the driveway and parking area.
Travel Insurance
We encourage our guests to purchase travel insurance as a hedge against unforeseen circumstances that may affect travel plans, and VRBO provides the opportunity to do so for guests upon booking. Currently there is no restriction on travel to our area and our property will be ready for you as stated in the rental agreement. If you choose to cancel, the cancellation policy per the rental agreement will apply.
There are 3 clubhouses available for you to use with this rental, which include ammenities such as pools, tennis courts, additional gaming, gym, playgrounds and more. Facilities schedule is from Memorial Day in May to Labor day in September. Facilities are open from 9am to 9pm. You will find the access card on site and to access any of the 3 clubhouses:
- South Baden Clubhouse Pool is 2 mins away @ 1319 S. Baden Drive (Closed on Tuesdays)
- North Pool/Clubhouse @705 Village Loop Rd (Closed on Wednesdays)
- Alpine Pool/Clubhouse @ 1151 Upper Alpine Way (Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays)
