Comfortable accommodations for our stay in the Portland area. Plenty of parking was very helpful which allowed us to park 3 vehicles and occasionally 4.
The house was so cute, and very clean! I had an operator error as we tried to check in, because I didn't realize the front door was the keypad, but the owners answered my messages promptly and helped me figure it out! There was plenty of parking, and the house was located close to so many things to do and in a nice area! We hope to stay there again when we visit our kids again!
Nice, clean property in a good location. Good, timely communication from host. We would stay here again.

The Good, Bad and the Ugly
I would have loved this back when I was in college. Dragging mattresses to other rooms and sleeping on the floor is fine in college, not so much in middle age. Sleeping arrangements were overstated, it was awkward finding space for the mattress and the furniture was covered in cat hair. The bedding in the kitchen had human hair on it and the “master” bedroom had a smell coming from the bathroom drain. The place had Great WiFi and easy parking and the recreation room with the pool table was a pleasant unexpected feature. Overall the description of the listing was misleading and cleanliness was an issue.
We rented this house instead of a hotel for our Daughter and cousins/friends and couldn't be happier! It was everything we hoped it would be and the girls had an absolutely amazing time! We will stay here again!

This property was very comfortable for myself and my family. I appreciate having access to s washer and dryer. The parking area was fantastic for multiple vehicles.
A very nice property with a lot of space outdoors to hang out in. We were just staying overnight but it was easy to access, we appreciated the use of the laundry and the comfortable beds. We couldn’t figure out how the place can sleep 10 people since there were only 3 queen beds but we didn't need more than those beds for the one night. Very neat place, and hope we can come stay longer next time.

No heat in pool table area
We hade an over all alright time. We only stayed one night. BUT we chose this place because it had a pool table. We had a group of friends coming back from a show and wanted a place we could hangout and have something to do. What is not mentioned is that the pool table is in a separated garage without heat. There are 2 plug in heaters in the space both are broken. Kind of ruined the night.
We picked up our son, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter from the airport shortly after midnight. Our daughter-in-law had extensive surgery in India and the trio had been in India for almost 4 months. The surgery was a success but she is still pretty frail, particularly after the long flight. The clean, quiet house, tub to soak in and nice soft beds were much appreciated. Also, we were new to online booking and our host graciously answered all our questions and helped us through the process.
Our host heard that we were throwing a 1920 murder mystery and said bet!! When we arrived they were working hard to get the garage ready, installing air conditioning because they knew the garage would be a perfect place for us to spend time playing pool. Thank you guys so much for letting us celebrate our friend in this beautiful space!!!
I was impressed by how clean it is for being pet and kid friendly. The garage and rooftop patio are fun extras. I’m assuming it’s the owners in the basement which didn’t bother us. I didn’t realize the front door dead bolt had a code reader, the garage had a separate code, and we were not given a code for the side door which caused some confusion on check in for the less tech savvy. Just read the check in instructions carefully. Overall it was as advertised and so much nicer than a hotel with our 4 small kids for a comparable price. 👍
Arrived during a blizzard that knocked out power to the house. The host went above and beyond when it was 14 degrees out to try to set up a generator to keep us warm and comfortable. To no avail we ended up checking out the following morning and not completing our stay. Under other circumstances this would have been an amazing stay, however the lack of heat or ability to prepare food/ shower with warm water curtailed that.

Neat location but confusing description
I took my daughter and three of her friends here for her 13th birthday sleepover. Whoever had cleaned it left several things out. An energy drink can on the counter and dishes in the dishwasher that ended up not draining from the load that was clearly started right before we arrived. The front door key pad was a bit confusing as it is hard to see. My daughter really liked the place and it was very peaceful. Property description says “Sleeps 10” and there are three bedrooms with queens. However, when I reviewed my invoice, I was charged 10 per person over 4. I reached out to the host and was told it was disclosed. It is no where in the description and the only part you see anything about guests numbers in on the final invoice page under Host Fees. You have to look for it. I was not refunded and was confused with being charged for people beyond 4 in a house that has three queens and advertises as 10. I would not rent here again and will be much for diligent at screening every booking detail, even if it would seem silly to question. Because who would have thought you would pay more for a house advertised as 10. Felt dishonest. Transparency was disappointing.

Why they chose this property
Close to downtown Portland, Near Nike, Intel, and Columbia. Suburban neighborhood in the northwest hills of portland, with deer often in the yard and back roads to Forest Park, St John’s, The Zoo and Downtown Portland.
