Yeti's Tree House: Where Dreams Come True

"Best Tree House I've ever seen!" Recent Guest

Let the kid in you come to play in this real treehouse held up by four trees, 18 feet off the ground. Zip line down or take a giant soaking tub. A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

The space
Three trees grow right through the deck and can be seen from all the inside windows. The deck is huge, with its own dining table. The solitude and views are wonderful. The kitchen is designed with all "retro" appliances. The fireplace lights up the dining room table and heats the space. All the walls are pine, and the indoor shower and full bathroom is made of artistic tile. The stairs are a brilliant space-saving design. Easier than any ladder or stairs I've ever seen in most tiny homes. Upstairs is a super comfy queen bed, a large "Hammock," and a couch/work space that turns into a double bed. You can watch movies suspended in the air on the hammock, looking down at the dining area. It's so comfy you might even prefer it to the high-tech mattress. There are three skylights looking straight up at the massive trees and three upstairs windows. There's air conditioning and wildlife, from owls and eagles to rabbits, coyotes, chipmunks, and deer. And you won't believe you are a ten-minute drive to all Portland has to offer, from the rose garden, council crest, hiking, and amazing food in trendy northwest like bamboo sushi, salt and straw, and voodoo donuts.

Guest access
You will have access to the Tree House, the giant deck, the Soaking tub, AND the secluded "Picnic area." And two parking spaces that lead to the 3-minute walk/trail. Please do not leave these areas, though. And make sure, if you bring a pet, they must be on a leash. Although it does not seem like it, there are neighbors nearby.

Weekend trip!
Everything was great. Good parking. Easy directions and easy to follow video. Fun trail, and the tree house was so beautiful and different. Pretty clean too! The tub outside was awesome. The only problems we had is when we first got there, another couple showed up after us and said they were booked to stay there too just on a different app. Which made things really awkward when we showed them our reservation and they ended up leaving. We also had trouble with the key not working, and the temperature in the shower was either cold or scolding hot. If you tried to make it just warm the water pressure would hardly work. Maybe just needed maintenance. All in all very fun stay. Had everything we needed, comfortable bed, and being from a small town and outdoorsy we were very cozy!

Super fun treehouse, a little hard for a group
We loved our stay at the treehouse, except that we were two couples and the sleeping situation wasn’t great for couple #2. The main bed was comfortable, but the futon was very uncomfortable and didn’t fit two adults. I ended up sleeping in the hammock, which wasn’t real great on my old lady back. I wouldn’t recommend more than two adults planning to sleep there. The soaking tub also left a lot to be desired… we didn’t end up using it because the pavers around the outside were all out of order and it was full of pine needles we didn’t want to mess with. Other than that, it was great! Wonderful deck, very clean shower, nice amenities!

I grew up in the N.W. And, I must say, my whole life I did not know this area existed. There is nothing like it so close to town. I'm a musician and an author. I love the outdoors, and I'm passionate about creating this "experience." That is how I see it. It's not just a place to stay. It's an experience. A place that can reset the soul!

Why they chose this property

There is no neighborhood anywhere this close to Portland like my property. There literally are countless wildlife from flying squirrels to deer, eagles and owls etc. AND, it's believed there is a friendly Sasquatch. I have a picture myself.

What makes this property unique

It feels like you are one hundred miles away from it all yet you are five to ten minutes from the best that Portland and Beaverton has to offer!
