We had another lovely stay in this villa our first visit was back in 2018 - Carmen with the support of filomena is a great host and endeavours to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Superb property and host

We had an excellent time resting relaxing and cooking, we only ate out twice in 7 days . Tastefully decorated in a colonial style, large rooms, high ceilings and fascinating artefacts - a very special experience.

We had the most fabulous week at Casa Da Oliveira. Carmen is the most generous and attentive host and we felt truly at home whilst we were there. It's the perfect place for relaxation and time spent with family. Also plenty of space if you need to get away from each other! We spent a lot of time, relaxing around the pool and also enjoyed the short journeys to beautiful beaches and restaurants. Cannot recommend this villa enough. Thank you so much Carmen!

Wonderful villa in a lovely quite location within easy walking distance of every thing you need and more a real home from home place, well maintained and spotlessly clean, exceptionally comfortable beds, lovely pool. A gem, perfectly tucked away in Alvor! We stayed for a week. The owner and housekeeper were very helpful, responsive, and friendly. The property is in great condition and is very spacious and clean. The location is great too. In a quiet part of town but walking distance to the centre of Alvor. We especially loved the quiet pool area with far reaching views and great sunsets! Highly recommended for couples or families.

Superb Villa

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week staying at Villa D’Oliveira. It is every bit as lovely as the photos on the website show. The owner Carmen was extremely helpful and attentive and made sure our holiday ran smoothly from beginning to end. We particularly enjoyed lazy days outside by the pool and the views from the villa at sunset are breathtaking. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic holiday in this wonderful villa with a lovely traditional style, beautiful views and a great outdoor pool/patio with a nice mix of shaded and sunny spots. Great location just outside of Alvor town, roughly 5 min walk to the supermarket and another 10 mins into the centre of Alvor where you have an amazing selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. Carmen is a great host and housekeeper Filomena comes by a couple of times a week and was a great help. The villa is truly stunning and suited all of our needs. We will definitely be recommending this accommodation to friends and family. Thank you!

Had a fabulous stay in casa da Oliveira with three kids under 10 ! Pool was lovely and villa was beautiful , really authentic Portuguese. Would recommend car if kids coming but great location for adults , really quiet which is what we wanted . Filomena was great and host was lovely very responsive and helpful. Would love to return some time !

This villa was beautiful! It had old world charm, a wonderful swimming pool with sun and shade options, and a view of the river and surrounding valley. It was close to downtown, a grocery store, and a great restaurant. Our hostess was informative, pleasant, and attentive. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us, Carmen. We stayed at the Casa da Oliviera from July 3rd until July 10th 2018, with my daughter and her family. The Place is absolutely beautiful and very clean, the location couldn't have been better, walking distance to the market and great restaurants, and even down town Alvor. Filomena was very nice and discreet and so was the pool man. Great contact with our host Carmen the whole time as well, and she was very helpful and informative. We will definately recommend this gorgeous place.

Highly recommend! My family and I (5 adults- 3 generations) recently spent 10 days at this house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host, location and property were perfect! We used this house as our home base to visit neighbouring sites in the morning and relaxed by the pool in the afternoons. Fantastic holiday. Located only 5 mins from couple of great wee bars and restaurants and only 10-15 mins walk to the town. The villa itself is so relaxing, We sat on the patio reading and enjoying getting in the pool to keep cool. Housekeeping was done a couple of times and the pool guy comes around to keep the pool clean. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a holiday in Alvor.

Fantastic villa

Carmen's villa is even better in real life than the photos which themselves are fabulous. It has everything going for it ... quiet area but within short walking distance to supermarket and bit further to restaurants etc. We all felt at home there and the pool was lovely. Carmen kept in touch to ensure we were all ok and Filomena visited every couple of days to keep the villa spotless and fresh laundry. Overall a 10 out 10 experience

Spacious comfortable Villa

We really enjoyed our stay at Carmen’s villa. The check in process was smooth and there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool area aswell as the back garden. There is loads of space to spread out if you are a larger group. It was good to have the housekeeper popping in for linen and towel changes and she also did some washing for us. We hired a car and felt this was useful for supermarket runs and visiting the local area but it isn’t essential.

Just returned from an extremely relaxing holiday in this villa - it was even better than the pictures.Carmen was great about communicating all the information we needed and Filomena was very attentive at checking on us while we were there. We felt well looked after as guests.We loved the spacious living area and bedrooms and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pool area was perfect for enjoying the sun - we didn't really feel the need to move from there too much!The location of the villa is perfect - it is only a 5 minute walk from a good supermarket where you can get everything you need and a 15 - 20 minute walk into Alvor. Fabulous villa

Comfortable, well equipped and really interesting style combining tasteful old with modern convenience. Filomena, the house keeper was lovely, efficient and unobtrusive. The owner Carmen was very attentive and solved all the early niggles immediately. This is a great Villa for a family or a couple. Walking distance to some good restaurants too. Pre pandemic we had this property booked, from the moment we had to cancel it was our intention when the situation was allowed we would be going. Very easy to review a property that was everything it said it was. Carmen was a joy to deal with, very responsive and attentive. The maid was lovely and did her work quietly and without bothering us. Little to add except if you want a quiet break within easy walking of lovely Alvor this is well worth a visit. We travelled as 2 x 60 year old couples, thank you

Why they chose this property

Many years ago I decided to settle down on this beutiful region because of its mild climate , white sandy beaches and beautiful nature .It offers not only the cosiness of a small village ,but also the facilities of a big city ( Portimão ).
The villa is set on a small urbanization ,very calm , away from traffic , on a cul-de-sac ,ideal for families with children.
I loved the place from the very first minute and that's the reason why it is my third home here .

What makes this property unique

Beaches and village at walking distance, a good supermarket and bakery with oldf fashion oven rolls, good road net and regular buses to the beach and Portimão at aprox. 70 m from the house ,as well as special buses to the waterparks , in short ,a whole range of possibilities and activities for the whole family.
For sport and delta flyers and parashoot jumpers , there's an active airfield at about 1,5 km distance only.
