Great house

Lovely house with fabulous sea view, a great rear terrace and secluded pool area. Catherine is clear that it is a split house with tenants in the lower section. Access to the coast road is fabulous for both St Jean de Luz and the beaches up to Biarritz.

Beautiful villa in Saint Jean de Luz

Great views and location, pool and bedrooms... easy to use, though the steps to the back bedroom might be a hindrance for anyone with mobility problems. Would definitely consider returning. No screens on windows made it hard to take full advantage of the beautiful sea air once mosquitoes came out in the evening.

Une vue inoubliable !

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances familiales dans cette maison typiquement basque en hauteur avec une vue splendide sur l'océan, pleine de charme et dans laquelle on se sent bien tout de suite ! Les différents lieux de vie, les terrasses, la végétation environnante et la piscine sont très agréables. La proximité de la plage , de la guinguette d'Erromardie, du Jardin botanique , de sentiers de balades... est très appréciable.

Beau sejour dans le pays basque

Maison très agreable, avec un espace piscine généreux et tranquille. Depuis la maison très jolie vue mer. Attention toutefois, il faut bien comprendre que la location ne concerne que le 1er etage de la maison (la maison est dans une pente), il y a donc une famille qui vit à l'année en dessous (ce fut un point dont nous avons discuté avec la propriétaire car sa première annonce n'était pas claire à ce sujet). Famille plutôt discrète, mais pour le tarif demandé, il vaut mieux le savoir... La maison présente une belle pièce à vivre avec cuisine, salon et alcôve (2 lits simples), et après un passage par un escalier descendant et un remontant, il y a les pièces surplombant le rez-de chaussée, donnant sur la mer (2 chambres), et un coin salon très agréable, avec une grande baie vitrée coulissante. Il y a un seul lit double, donc convient difficilement à deux familles (nous y etions avec nos 4 enfants). Nous y étions 2e et 3e semaine d'aout, période très demandée dans cette région. Maison située sur la colline d'Erromardie, centre ville de St Jean de Luz 40 mn à pieds environ...Voiture reste necessaire! Proximité d'un LIDL (voiture), Plage (pas de sable fin) et restaurants, coin boulangerie et vente de légumes à 2-3mn à pieds, à proximité des campings qui longent cette partie de côte(mais pas de nuisance sonore). Plancha neuve. Attitude courtoise de la propriétaire suite à la casse d'une piece du robot piscine. Nous avons passé un excellent sejour, rayonnant autour de ce point, et profitant aussi de journées calmes et familiales au bord de la piscine.

Séjour à Saint Jean de Luz

Maison tres agréable, tres spacieuse, avec une magnifique vue sur la mer. La terrasse est tres sympa et la piscine de belle taille. La plage est à 5 min à pieds. Nous y avons passé de tres bonnes vacances

Saint Jean, confort, très belle piscine et vue sur l’océan

Malgré une semaine de mauvais temps, tout le charme de Saint Jean de Luz dans cette maison confortable et merveilleusement bien placée.

Lage ist optimal

Eine sehr schön gelegene Ferienwohnung mit guter Verkehrsanbindung, Meeresnähe und verschiedenen nahe gelegenen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Leider ist für die Poolnutzung vor Ort eine Kaution von 1000€ zu hinterlegen, wovon in der Beschreibung nichts steht. Außerdem ist der Pool vor Juni nicht zu nutzen, was auch aus keiner Beschreibung hervorging! Hier waren wir das erste Mal enttäuscht, da wir bei dem Preis von einer möglichen Nutzung des Pools Ende April ausgegangen sind! Die Vermieterin haben wir darauf angesprochen, woraufhin sie vorgab, dass die Poolabdeckung defekt sei nach einem Blitzschlag…. Leider war der Vormieter nicht sehr reinlich, es fanden sich Ungeziefer (Spinnweben, Ameisen und Wanzen) im Haus und die Putzkraft wirkte etwas überfordert. Die Schlösser an den Terassentüren waren alle defekt, so dass wir die Wohnung nicht abschließen konnten, die Vermieterin rief einen Techniker, der das Haus wieder notdürftig abschließbar machte. Was aus den Fotos nicht hervorging, ist, dass es Untermieter gibt, der Eingang zur Fewo ist über deren Terasse gelöst. Leider ist es auch hellhörig gewesen. Alles in allem ist der Preis nicht zu rechtfertigen aus unserer Sicht! Schade!!!

Thank you for staying in villa Zerocozubia and providing feedback which is very valuable to improve the description on this website which I used for the first time. The guests wanted to use the pool when they arrived mid April and expected the pool to be used all year long. I told my clients that the water is about 13 degrees - normally guests double check this with me beforehand. Therefore I have now clarified on the website to make very clear that this is non-heated pool (instead of pool) to avoid any disappointments in the future. The house is fully cleaned also using disinfectants as standard and I will make sure that this standard is maintained. It has been clearly stated that the complete top floor is for rent enjoying full privacy and undisturbed views across the bay. The big patio including the pool is also completely separated and private set against the hill on the level of the top floor. The main entrance to the property indeed is shared with another family but the path to the top floor goes through the private part of the garden alongside the house. I am very sorry that the feedback was influenced so much by the wrong expectations and the minor issues for which the utmost was done to rectify at short notice in order to allow a nice vacation in quiet and nice surroundings.
