Great place close to Seward but away from the noise and crowds. Very comfortable and quiet, provisioned with everything we needed. We will stay here again and recommend it to others!
Place was very well kept and the kitchen/living space was great for two couples. Porch was great to have as well! Seward is a fantastic town with a lot of outdoor things to do!
The property was perfect for our needs while visiting Seward. The place feels very clean and new with comfy beds and tasteful decor. The best part is the art.
Wonderful little cabin. Very convenient to town but feels very private. Super clean and comfortable. Everything is brand new. Host is very flexible and easy communication.
Our stay was lovely. The house had everything we needed. We appreciated the little touches like bear spray, binoculars and Dramamine! The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for our minimal food prep. Location was good. Would recommend!
Our stay at Rodney's place was amazing. The house is newly built and very well put together with great touches, like really nice appliances. We enjoyed using the grill to make dinner and sitting on the porch with the fire pit. Rodney was a fantastic host as well. I'd highly recommend Rodney's property for a family getaway in Seward!
Our stay at Questa a woods was lovely! Rodney & Marcelle are fabulous hosts! The house and property are pristine, comfortable and relaxing. They thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The house is a work of art. As woodworkers ourselves, we love to see what fellow artists do to add special touches to their space. We definitely left this property with new ideas!
The house is located close to all that the area has to offer. If you plan on booking a marine tour be sure to let Rodney know. He has connections!
We enjoyed some time on the water, a hike to Tonsina point as well as dinner at the Apollo, coffee at Resurrect Art and a trip to the Pitt Bar for some spirits and Mitch’s pork. The only regret we have is not staying longer!
Lovely place to stay! Very modern and comfortable! And Rodney was a great host - got back to us immediately when we had questions or requests. We wish we’d had more time to try the fire pit! Highly recommend! The bedrooms are a little tight - the men in each couple had to keep their suitcase out in the living room - but that’s really not much trouble.
We thoroughly enjoyed our brief one night stay! Unfortunately, our halibut fishing trip got canceled but this was a great place to relax on our trip to Seward. We have family in town visiting from Georgia and they were able to go in the major marine tour and take the train back to Anchorage. It was a full day but definitely a highlight of their time in Alaska. I also highly recommend checking out Marcelle, the owners, artwork. She has artwork throughout the property but an even better selection at the major Marine to our office. I brought home an octopus print.
Its a nicely built cabin and we had a great time. The host was alao easy to deal with and very accomodating. His dog is very friendly and he did stop by to say hello and play ball which was fun. The cabin is about 10 mins drive from the town but definitely worth it staying there.
