Each cottage offers: 2 bedrooms (queen bed in one bed room and 2 twin beds or twin/full bunkbed), one bath, kitchen and family room with futon. Covered porch. Steps away from the lake. Fire pit in front on each cottage. Dock for each cottage- so don't forget to bring the Boat!

Situated on 3.5 acres. Swing set in the back.

Long Lake is the ideal location for water activities such as swimming, fishing, boating, and water-skiing.

The shower was nasty,the water smelled and we did not drink it.The dock was not safe to walk on.The picnick table was broken and flipped on its top on the lawn.The windows we dirty and paint peeling on windows.I wuould not stay here again!

I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. As stated in both the listing and the reminder email, the property is on well water and is very high in iron. This is why we provide a gallon of drinking water and suggest bringing more for long stays. The water is safe, though it does stain the shower with orange spots that will not fully remove. The dock was Bent by a boat but I assure you it is safe as it has had multiple boats docked to it since. I will endeavor to inform future renters so they are not alarmed until I can get it fixed cosmetically. I also apologize for the picnic table as it was just broken a week ago and I have not had a chance to complete the repair, but will do so ASAP.

The setting was beautiful! The kitchen sink and shower were so disgusting, we went to town for cleanser and cleaned them before we could use them. The refrigerator was dirty and had other peoples food (condiments etc) in it. There were cob webs with spiders and eggs under the table in the living room. We only stayed 2 nights of our three booked. There wasn't a can opener or toaster in the kitchen. There were also two gun safes in our cabin!

This was a small, bare bones rental. Necessities were included such as kitchen supplies, and I appreciated the gallon of water (water super hard) and the full ice trays. WiFi password didn’t work and I attempted to contact host online, but I never heard back. I think they live on the property, but I didn’t want to bother them. I did get a good cell signal. You might want an extension cord if you like to use your electronics in bed. Cabin may fit 6 in a pinch using couch, but more comfortable for up to 4. Very quiet. The lake was beautiful.

Lacking some things

Has a lovely view and a very comfortable mattress but there were some things lacking- mainly a kitchen table and chairs! We had to go buy a folding table and chairs. The other 2 cottages on this property had tables/ chairs. It would have been nice to know this in advance. Apparently we were renting the cottage the owners usually stay in and most of the shelves in kitchen also had their food items on them. The grounds, dock, picnic table are all in need of some TLC

We apologize for the misunderstanding. Cottage 3 is our home, not our vacation cottage. We try to make it available for people from time to time by staying on base in our camper and change the setup as much as practical, but it is different due to being our residence. Nicer microwave, More kitchen appliances, a safe taking up a little space, Coffee table taking a little space, Food taking a little space, bigger futon. We will try to add a small table for guests, but please be aware when renting this Cottage it is our home and not a rental Cottage. Also, I promised the grounds are under constant Improvement. Thank you for your patronage and thank you for leaving the cottage so very clean. We look forward to you staying again in the future and please feel free to pick a different Cottage if it better suits your needs.

Great location

We stayed for Labor Day weekend and it was a great little getaway. Cute little property and secured besides the 2 other cabins. Very quaint and relaxing.
