La Lyre, our large 19th century family home nestled in the heart of a small medieval village, welcomes you to enjoy the bright sunshine and clean Pyrenean air in the refreshing shade of its century-old wisteria. The house is ideally placed with walking access to all amenities (e.g. bakery/café, butcher, supermarket) and by car to the nearby thermal baths of Amélie les Bains and Prats de Mollo. We offer discounts to holidaymakers who stay 3+ weeks.
The house is completely renovated to a high standard with all modern conveniences including mesh wifi, excellent insulation and double glazing, heating and air conditioning (in the main living areas).
The fully equipped open-plan kitchen and BBQ have everything you need to fully enjoy the large terrace under the coolness of the wisteria, even in the middle of summer.
In addition to 2 TVs with Netflix/Chromecast, there is a trampoline, an inflatable paddling pool and plenty of books, toys and board games to keep the whole family entertained.
In the village there are many hikes (the GR10 passes behind the house), cycle paths, horse riding, basketball and tennis courts, playground, swimming pool, gym and spa (Canigó Sports and Nature South Centre).
The house is easily accessible on the axis that runs through the village. It is located one floor above the street via a staircase. You can access all parts of the house shown in the photos as well as the terrace. A free parking space is available on site.
