Beautiful Villa

This is our second stay at this Villa. Martina is a wonderful host and the villa is beautiful. The location is great for discovering both Umbria and Tuscany. We did a different town almost every day. Most towns with a hour or hour 1/2. For longer cities the Fabro train station 15 minutes away. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to relax away from a hotel.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at il Berneto farmhouse villa--what an unforgettable, magical stay! The villa offered the perfect blend of peaceful countryside views and incredible convenience, just a short walk away from the quaint medieval town of Monteleone d'Orvieto, several restaurants (including one cafe that offered gelato over the counter...try the Olive Oil flavor, delicious!), and a grocery store. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the host, Martina, and her family. They treated us as one of their own, inviting us to help with the olive harvest and sharing a spectacular family meal with us. What an incredibly special authentic Italian experience that we will treasure forever. We definitely plan to return again one day!
