Home: This rental property is a vacation dream with the view alone. The backyard features a tropical swimming pool, a diving rock, a jacuzzi, a waterfall koi pond, a firepit, a fruit garden, 2 canoes, 1 paddle board, lounge seating, a double swing, , a dock for fishing, a deck, a fire pit for s'mores, a barbecue, and deck chairs. Along with various other outdoor seating options. The home is the only home in The Woodlands that has an entrance (a gate) connecting to one of the major parks of the Woodlands, South Shore Park. This two story stucco home sleeps 10 people. 4 beds in the main house, 2 beds in the private guest house. The home sleeps 10, and offers a 3 car garage. Sits 4 large cars or 6 small cars in the driveway. This open concept living, features large commercial windows to enjoy the spectacular view of the lake and pool and all the activities going on it it. In the interior you will find all white bedding, and walls. Stainless steel appliances. 81 inch tv in the living room. Movie theater room upstairs with a large projector and leather reclining chairs. Next to the movie theater room you'll find a game room with a pool table and ping pong table with encompassing views next to the 2 story balcony, and winding outdoor staircase. Very kid friendly.

Extras would include: oversized double shower heads, cable, Netflix, unique furniture, shower seating, 2 tubs, a projector, guest house has a private garage, self entry, bikes, large kitchen, double dining tables, and a crib. Canoers at breakfast and views of the rowing club pass our house.

Location: 3 miles from The Woodlands Mall, 150 restaurants, 4 movie theaters, 3 splashpads. A world famous outdoor pavilion. Extensive bike trails (and bike trails outside our backyard fence). Captain for a fee around Lake Woodlands if available.. 25 minutes from IAH, 5 minutes from the nearest golf course. 5 minutes to the nearest grocery store. 38 minutes to downtown houston. Home to one of the best MD Anderson around.

About The Woodlands: The Woodlands is a master planned community rated 2nd best Town for families to live for 2019 in the US. It is 28 miles away from Houston Downtown. Home to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion where they hold Concerts and festivals through out the year. The waterway has cruiser boats that take you through the canal, similar to the San Antonio river walk. There are childrens splash pads in the park at Market street as well as boutiques, restaurants and shopping. Dancing waterfalls that play music. Good Hospitals and great schools.

The house is way more than advertised

First off, Amanda is fantastic, extremely communicative, and very helpful. Upon driving to the home, it was exactly as listed in the pictures. The house is enormous, and for the price you’re paying for what you get in the property, I would say that it is one of the best rentals in the Houston area. Everything in the home works perfectly; it’s beautiful to be sitting right on the lake. I enjoyed morning walks around the lake, and the neighborhood is meticulously kept. The house was perfect for me; it had more than I needed. I was highly impressed everything worked in the home well, and the theater room was my absolute favorite. They have done a remarkable job at their in-home theater, and I spent many hours in that room. If you’re a reader that wants a detailed great/areas of improvement review, and I’m being highly critical, looking to pick out any improvements. There is some road noise from the freeway across the lake, and there are a couple of items that could use a tiny bit of maintenance in the home. However, looking at the price and all you are getting for the property, it makes up for any minor improvements you will find in any home that is truly a dedicated short term rental. I highly recommend it and would stay again!

Wonderful experience

Stayed at the property for my daughter’s wedding in Woodlands. Everything was great. The house is lovely and very relaxing, communication with the owners was great, everything was new and very clean. Perfect for our occasion.

Needs some TLC

Great location. Nice house, but in serious need of some TLC. House is surface clean, but really dirty. The pool was full of algae and the pool guy blamed on rain. The problem was no chlorine in the pool and the pool guy not taking care of it. He never came back to check the pool and we had to brush it to get all the algae off the walls. The boat is only usable with a captain and a disclaimer that it is old and unreliable. Who would want to use it if it unreliable? Remotes missing in the home theater so we couldn't get it to work. And lastly the ACs can not keep the house cool until early in the morning. This is a beautiful house and location, but it really needs some attention for the price you are paying. The housekeeper was the blessing in the whole thing. I would not stay here a again.

Fantastic Property!

Our family had the most amazing vacation at this property! The house was amazing! Very clean and well organized. We loved having the pool and the lake for the 4th of July. Because the lake area is very supervised our teenagers could paddle board and kyak without fear of being fear high speed boats mowing them down. This property was perfect for us and we really enjoyed our 4th of July week. Honestly can't think of any negatives. We all had a awesome time. Thankyou!
