Loved this cottage! Beautiful waterfront location. You can walk right out the back door through the yard to sandbar birding area, and it's minutes away from Quoddy Head state park, my favorite place. The cottage is beautifully outfitted, everything you need. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and blankets. And some unexpected extras - robe & slippers, boots and rain gear! As we drove away, we were discussing when to book again next year.

The place was adorable, obvious thought about possible needs, decorations on point, comfortable bedding. The deck and balcony were amazing and the property had beautiful flowers, shrubs, roses, hydrangeas. There was even a welcoming package with treats! Would definitely stay there again!

This cottage is probably my all time favorite VRBO ever! It is so incredibly charming and cozy (especially if you love anything vintage - OMG seriously) and the view will take your breath away! My husband and I spent a lot of time just staring out at the marsh and water and listening to the breeze and quiet. The main bedroom faces the water and we watched the gorgeous sunrise every morning. Oh and THE STARS!! We live in the city and don't see that many stars due to light pollution, but at this place....it was mesmerizing! Catherine - you have a true treasure of a cottage and we are so grateful that you shared it with us! We hope to return soon!!

Loved our time there and already booked for 2027! Very welcoming touches like special soaps, a nice welcome basket of goodies and some fresh local produce. The house is comfortable, clean, quiet and perfectly situated. It's a wonderful setting with beautiful easterly views across the meadow to lubec sound from both the upstairs and downstairs decks. Beautiful gardens surround the house plus there's a very nice art studio with another sun deck. Just lovely!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage and would happily return. The property was spotless when we arrived and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. It was exactly the kind of getaway we were looking for. As birders and nature lovers, we especially appreciated that the backyard connected directly to a birding spot. Being able to step outside and immediately enjoy the sights and sounds of nature was a real treat. We spent many enjoyable hours watching birds and wildlife right from the property, making the experience even more memorable.Catherine, the host, was excellent and very communicative throughout the entire process. She responded quickly to questions, provided clear instructions, and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and ensured everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out.Overall, this cottage exceeded our expectations. my husband and I stayed at this adorable cottage to watch our daughter run the 1/2 marathon in Lubec. What a beautiful spot!! our only complaint is that we didn't have enough time to fully enjoy this gem of a place!! I highly recommend this cottage!!!

The cottage was cozy, quaint, and everything we were hoping for! It was the perfect place for a relaxing, and quiet getaway. Great location in between the town center and West Quoddy light. Fun beaches to explore nearby, and the grounds were beautiful. We loved walking our dog through the field and down to the edge of the water. The house was cozy and clean! Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Highly recommend, and we hope to return!

Great stay for birdwatchers

A beautiful and ideal setting for birdwatchers and nature lovers. We had a wonderful time, loved the location for going to many birding hotspots, and totally enjoyed sitting out on the incredible deck overlooking the bay. The house is well stocked with any and everything you might need to enjoy your stay.

Fantastic Stay!!

An amazing, quaint cottage with lovely views. It is in close proximity to a variety of hiking trails and everything in Lubec. It is a perfect escape and a slice of heaven. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return!

This was a surprise get away. With that, I was surprised by the location’s beauty and excited to stay in a cottage that was like a doll house. The cottage was well decorated, supplied, and overall clean. Being close to the West Quoddy Lighthouse, Campobello Island, all the natural trails, and of course being able to see the sunrise over the Atlantic where it touches the continental US first thing (while in bed if you so choose) is amazing!! Wonderful experience!

Peaceful retreat

Excellent property, incredible views, nice decks to relax on, and just a beautiful surrounding! We had everything we needed! Close to Quoddy Head, lots of hiking, we even drove out to the sand bar at low tide to watch people clamming! Bed was so comfortable, overall 5 stars and we would rent again! Thank you, Catherine for the lovely gift bag full of Maine goodies, and the special touches throughout the home.

Wonderful experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lubec Bay Cottage. It felt like staying at home, with so much provided to make our stay comfortable. The location was amazing, with a perfect view of the sunrise each morning. Easy access to town and many hiking trails. We are already planning to return!

Great spot for our anniversary

My wife and i decided to spend our anniversary here and fell in love as soon as we walked in.This little cottage was perfect oir little get away. The style and layout was just what we was looking for. Both upper and lower deck made the view even better. We loved the outdoor seating on the beach. I would recommend this place for a great little get away
