Launch your ocean kayak from the super safe cove or just snuggle up with a book on the beach while the tide chases you up the sand.
Take a boardwalk down the beach to the state parks trails that wind along the crashing surf coast finding the perfect spot to unpack your picnic lunch as you look across the ocean to Grand Manan and beyond all the while enjoying the day you will remember and treasure for a lifetime.
Plan a whale watching trip, visit the lighthouse " EASTERN MOST POINT IN THE USA", have some DOWNEAST seafood, and play some golf just a short drive away in Canada.
In the evening, after cooking on the BBQ, sit by the firepit enjoying your favorite beverage or playing cornhole under the stars.
Walking the many trails in the area, ask Eric about the trail booklet at the hardware store in town, or just freelance on your own; it will make for a great day, and the fresh air will put you in a peaceful sleep as your head hits the pillow.
Don't forget a Saturday morning stop at the farmer's market in town or the "community outreach thrift store" at the school.
Please don't forget the SUMMER KEYS free concert in town. Tea with Eleanor at FDR's summer home is a don't-miss event but make your reservation at the historic homestead.

The cabin was very nice! Clean and well stocked with everything needed to prepare, cook and eat meals. The bed was very comfortable. Beautiful location - quiet and calming. The walkway to the water was a great addition for easy access to walk the beach.

The property was lovely. Clean, well maintained, with absolutely beautiful views and a quiet atmosphere. Far enough away from town it was peaceful but not so far its a long drive. Literally down the road from the Quaddy Head state park. The hosts did a great job making us feel extra welcome for our 20th anniversary getaway. All in all a great experience.

Great little cabin

The cabin was absolutely lovely. The location was peaceful and quiet. We could see the cove from the cabin windows and listen to the waves lapping against the shore. We had a peaceful, restful stay. The hosts, Robert and Sandy couldn't be more wonderful. Lovely, lovely folks.

Comfortable Cabin on the Water

We were the first guests and cant wait to return. Absolutely great stay at a comfortable cabin on the water. The cabin had everything you could need for a quiet and relaxing stay. Easy drive into Lubec and close to Campobello Island. Great communication with Bob and Sandy. Made for a very memorable vacation.

Cabin is absolutely ADORABLE!!!!! My husband & I loved staying here!!! Location is perfect & the owners were super awesome with check in & check out. Loved the personal touch of leaving us a note & snacks. We would 100% stay here again. The only negative is the listing says air conditioning and it doesn’t have AC. Thankfully we stayed here in September when it was cooler and not a summer month. Also, it mentions a hot tub but it’s actually the bathtub with jets. It was a nice bath but not the same as you expect when a listing says hot tub. Still give this cabin a great review and will be back :)
