Read about tacos and Willie. The only thing better than a Texas light is a neon Texas light. That's right. 4/2021 The pool is reopened!

This is a one-bedroom condo with an open living / dining space and is designed for 1-2 adults to kick back and enjoy. There is wifi and Roku / Netflix on the smart TV.

There is a dinette set for 4 and definitely a coffee maker! The kitchen is fully stocked with all your kitchen needs and wine glasses of course.

This space features a queen bed. The condo is about 525 square feet.

There is a small bistro table and a chair right outside the front door.

The assigned parking space is best for a mid-sized/standard-sized car or smaller. There is parking around the neighborhood for bigger cars but will likely require parking a few blocks away.

Met my needs and convenient location. Apartment was as pictured.There was a problem with a chirping from the neighborhood apartment which took several days to resolve. The host, however, was very responsive and tried very hard to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible.

Within Walking Distance from Downtown

Thisa place was PERFECT for 2 people. The location is close to downtown, but far enough not to hear the noise of 6th St on the weekend. It was clean, had just enough rooms, and had plenty of kitchen amenities. While it’s close to downtown, it’s also on the bus line if you don’t want to/can’t walk the 10 minutes it took to get there. However, if you have a vehicle, there’s a parking space for you as well. There were plenty of eating spots close by (within a 5 minute walk) … a Dim Sum spot, a deli, an oyster house, a place called The Night Cap with a variety of choices, and an ice cream place called Amy’s. Excellent!

Solar Eclipse 2024!

What a great stay we had. My partner and I had been planning the solar eclipse for over a year and this property was booked well in advance. As the trip approached, other properties I booked as the trip consisted of stays in four different cities, canceled on me once they realized they could rebook the property for a much higher rate due to the eclipse. These hosts did not do that however and honored my stay. The property itself was exactly as advertised. Great for one or two people just looking for a clean place to stay. I would like to say quiet but I don't know if it was a permanent resident living above or if that unit is also a rental but there was a family with a few young children above us that woke us up early each morning with laughter, tears, and stomps. Not the fault of the hosts of course but something to be aware of. Otherwise, the unit is just a few minutes drive from E 6th if you're into the party/bar scene and maximum 10 minutes drive from all the places we were interested in. We didn't get a chance to use the pool unfortunately but they do have one which is great. The hosts were very communicative and we had no issues during our stay, but had we, I'm confident they would have addressed it immediately. 10/10 would stay again!

We're also passionate about experiencing life through food and travel -- set to a soundtrack of 90's hip hop with some bluegrass sprinkled in. CP's passion for moist Texas brisket and fried chicken runs deep, and Rachel dreams about solomillo foie in San Sebastian daily. And, true story, CP proposed to Rachel while at an awesome cabin in Virginia that someone hosted. Then we got married in East Tennessee. We're good people who like to think the best in others and hope to meet all y'all good people out there.
