Great place to enjoy the dunes! Kitchen was well stocked. I always bring cooking utensils, seasoning and dishwasher tabs. Only used my favorite knife. Everything was clean and in good condition. Thank you we will be back!
We stayed here for the direct access to the dunes. No need to load up the toys and haul them to the day use area. Ride right from the house into the dunes in a couple of minutes. The house was clean and Secure. Check in and out was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again.
Words can not express the gratefulness of having such a wonderful place to stay: simple, quiet, lots of room, felt like we were at home. We are coming back again. Thank you.

Comfy, quiet
This was such a pleasant little home to stay in. With this being our third trip to Coos Bay for our daughters school event, we were really looking for better option than a hotel. This was a very pleasant discovery for us! Not only was the house comfy, clean and in a quiet ares. It is also such a short jont to get onto the dunes. So this ended up being a scouting trip as well for our next visit which will include our bikes! Thank you Merv and Charlotte for being such wonderful hosts and so easy to communicate with. We will def be staying again!

Perfect Place for Dune Get-Away!
Two couples stayed here for three nights. We loved the house!! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked (spices, coffee pot, dishes, lots of utensils, etc.) and the dune access was Amazing. We had the pleasure of meeting Merv & Charlotte (the property owners) and they were ever so friendly - offering if we needed anything to let them know. We also loved that we could bring our dogs with us, which made it feel even more like home. When we come back, we will definitely be staying here again! For the price of this rental, we don't see how anyone could be disappointed - a diamond in the rough, for sure!! If we were to offer one tiny suggestion, it might be to hang a curtain from the queen bedroom to the hallway entry where the bathroom is. At night while sleeping, we think it would offer a bit of privacy between the two bedrooms that share the bathroom, but it surely wasn't a deal breaker for us. Plenty of UTV/ATV parking. Picnic Table, Indoor and Outdoor Games, BBQ and much more. Another plus, is that all four of us took showers back-to-back and no cold water issues - everyone got a nice hot shower! Lots of shopping and eating in Coos Bay too! Thanks for sharing your home with us!! Until next time . . . . . . .
Parking was great, plenty of space,I would suggest putting house number on gate. Little confusing with all mail boxes only .Clean rooms , Great access to beach area ! We did not have pets .Garage is a little small for large Side by side , but one did fit.
House is very clean and in a great location for dune access. Lots of space to park and we could've brought our 37 foot 5th wheel and larger side by side trailer and had plenty of parking. Owner/property manager was great to work with. Will definitely stay here again.
This was our 4th time staying at this house on the dunes and we had a wonderful time as always! The house had been updated with new carpet and deep-cleaned since the last time we were there so it was all nice and fresh. It is so nice to be able to just hop on our toys and head out to the sand without the hassle of trailering. Plus, we were able to bring our dogs down with us which is a big deal. We always hate to leave them at home with a sitter! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to come relax and play on the dunes.
We've been staying at the dune house for several years. Over the years many upgrades have been done. Every year is a super great time we spend as a family.
Always enjoy our time at the house. Great location for duning .Watched movies since the Netflix was not hooking up and Tv channels weak. More trips planned this year.
We have stayed here many times. The owner has consistently made improvements on the home. Gets better every time. Carrie will respond to you within minutes for any questions or issues.
We had the best time! We arrived late afternoon Friday, the code to get in had been updated so we called Carrie and she gave us new code. The garage was great to keep quad / side by side in and out of the weather. The fenced yard was lovely, we brought our dog Bruno and he had a good time playing in the new space, he's not much of a rider 😉
The trails we accessed were out of the driveway to the left off of Crannog Road. The house was super cozy and clean. The beds were comfy and linens were well stocked. The cleaning station for the machines after riding was a bonus! Thank you for the wonderful home away from home ❤️
I love the dune access here. My dad, myself and a friend of ours make this trip every year.
We always bring lots of quads and have lots of fun.
Thanks Carrie for the awesome rental!
