Once again we had a wonderful time during our stay at this beautiful and unique Coos Bay home. We are close to beautiful parks, food, hiking and peacefulness. Had a great time watching surfers and enjoyed beach walks! Great vistas from the house! Thank you to Jim & Kathy!!
Perfect house, everything you need with an amazing view. Great location with grocery stores close by. Restaurants are a hit or miss as a lot were closed or limited days/hours. Wonderful nature trails and parks near by.
We loved staying at this property! It was absolutely perfect! The views were amazing! We would for sure recommend this property and would love to stay again. God bless this house!
I love coming to this house for it’s location and this ease of staying. The kitchen has everything I need to cook, the beds are comfy and you can see bald eagles fly by right outside the windows.
We had a wonderful stay. The house was very well equipped and the hosts were kind and helpful. We had two small families, the kids (cousins) were happy to be sleeping on the living room floor together, and had plenty of room. The beach path was really great, well done and maintained for decent beach access.
Nice home with updated features and ideal location with beach access and incredible views of the Pacific crashing into a rocky island with historic lighthouse.
The house sits high above a beach with sand and tidal pools and rocks. A lovely place. The trail down is constructed switchbacks keeping it from being too steep for access. House is very nice with great views from most rooms. State parks and small town very convenient. Great.
We enjoyed our stay at your house with beautiful views of the ocean, lighthouse, and sunsets! Had one morning of rain that was fun to relax while watching the stormy ocean. Enjoyed the less populated beach, with easy access from your house (although it may be a bit steep for some). Also enjoyed the nearness of State parks and lots of hiking trails!
The house was clean and comfortable, loved the sleep number bed, and instructions in your notebook for a comfortable stay!
Although we visited the Oregon coast for a sad occasion, this place was exactly what we needed for a restful get away & escape. The location is amazing, as close as you can get to Sunset Bay Beach without camping. The property was exactly as advertised, only better. The information about the area really made us want to come back! So helpful & all on point, based on the few places we were able to visit. As a vertically impaired woman I loved the kitchen view, my hubby was too tall, I just channeled grandma and took it all in. We moved the chairs around so many times, when the lighthouse peeked out of the fog, when the chubbiest hummingbird I have ever seen visited, it was all spectacular. Thank you for sharing your family’s Oregon coast home, please let us come back!
This property wasan amazing find. Right on the ocean front with access to the beach. Home was well stocked gor needs. Only problem we had was the heater in upstairs bedroom did not work and had to usr extra blankets to stay warm. Would highly recommend this property and hope to come back ourselves.
Great home with an incredible view! We really enjoyed our stay here! My husband was very impressed with the switchback trail to the beach! Kitchen stocked with every utensil and pan and plates we needed. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!
We loved our stay! The house is spacious and well-equipped with a wonderful view. Great beach walks close by. It’s even better than the photos would suggest. We only stayed 2 nights, but hope to make it longer next year.
Kitchen was tired - refer did not disburse water or ice, under sink dirty & trash can moldy, inside of cupboards not clean. BBQ was misrepresented and unacceptable for a VRBO rental this expensive - we expected a normal BBQ, not a toy. Outdoor seating inadequate and not safe (we bought one and left it for the house). Exterior hose needed new sprayer to clean the windows. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed our stay. Wish it would have been cleaner!
This house is very private and peaceful. Plenty of room, light and bright, and many thoughtful touches like a coffee grinder, beach towels, and condiments. We loved it and miss it already.
My husband and I stayed for just over a week and loved every minute. We ventured from the house and took day trips south to crater lake and redwooods forest national parks, and north to Depoe Bay for whale watching. We explored the area around Cape Arago and Charleston which are some of our favorite hikes and adventures from this trip. We were lucky enough to be here for the new moon and a very low tide. The tide pools and rocks on lighthouse beach were the best we’ve seen. Better than Cannon Beach and some other highly recommended areas, and we had it all to ourselves! The house itself is exactly as pictured. Gorgeous views, comfortable places to curl up and listen to the ocean, and a very private beach to explore.
