Beautiful views, quiet, and relaxing
Our family of 5 stayed at this wonderul home about 30 minutes north of downtown Nice. It is tucked away in a small town called Tourette-Levens and offers the peace and quiet we needed for our vacation. There was more than enough room for everyone, and my kids each got their own bedroom and bathroom. The backyard pool was great at the end of the day after sightseeing. The gated driveway was nice and could probably fit 3-4 cars. Franck showed us aroudn and how to use the automated sun shades and the front gate. He gave us a tour of the home. The balcony by the kitchen on the top floor was great for morning breakfast or evening dinners while we watched our kids play in the pool. The bottom floor has large floor to ceiling windows that you can open up to the back yard which was great to hang out as well. There is a second kitchen there as well and a small BBQ set we used to grill hamburgers one night. The town has a very cool castle and a 1.5 mile nature hike which is very off the beaten path but my kids loved it. Day trips to Villefranche-sur Mer, and Saint Jean-Cap Ferrat beaches were a easy an much less crowded the beaches at Nice. We also did a day trip to Monaco which was a quick drive (40-45minutes away), and Eze which is a charming town (30mins away) although I would caution driving right up the hill into Eze. We made that mistake and had to reverse drive dodging pedestrians. Best to park on the road about 1-2km away from Eze and just walk in. Overall this is a great home. Very spacious and well equipped
