This is a spectacular place. It is a beautiful, well kept property with thoughtful touches that make it feel extra special. The hosts are responsive and helpful and the views of the lake are breathtaking. We enjoyed our family gathering here and can’t wait to return.

We absolutely adored every nook and cranny that The Pumphouse had to offer both inside and out. It is so unique, chic, historic and downright beautiful. It is everything that is amazing wrapped into one property. Plus, you can’t get any closer to Lake Superior (our favorite geographical location on the planet). It is safe to say that we will be returning! Thank you, Carin and Dean!

This property was wonderful. We traveled with our family (two kids under 10). The property had amenities that were great for our whole family—well-appointed bedrooms, outdoor seating, games, kayaks, and a playground. Also the location is amazing. We hope to return!

The PumpHouse was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for meal preparation. There is a good sized grocery store just a few blocks away. Beds are really comfortable. Loved falling to sleep with the sound of waves. Morning coffee was great on the back deck overlooking Lake Superior.Wonderful stay!

We had everything we needed and had so much fun. Used the outdoor grill twice and had no issues. Saw a few ships as the season was just starting. The views of the lake are the best. Highly recommend!!!
