Best Experience Ever

We absolutely loved this VRBO. It was clean, came equipped with all necessities, and had a parking space reserved for us off street.The view of the lake was so pretty and the beach was only 15 steps out the back of the house. So close to canal park as well, so walking to dinner or to get beverages was easy and convenient. The hosts were amazing as well and were readily available for any questions or needs we had. 15/10 recommend this place! We will definitely be coming back!

Great Stay!

Cozy little property nestled in the sand dunes of Lake Superior- a magical view. We could see the lake between the dunes and Canal Park was just a quick walk across the bridge. We would stay here again!

A great place in a great location

The apartment is spotless and comfortably furnished, with everything exactly as pictured in the listing. It’s just a quick walk up to Canal Park, but feels like a whole different world. Just step through the dune and onto the endless, sandy beach! I came for some Me Time and stillness, so spent a lot of time walking the beach, watching ships come in etc. Most of the houses on this stretch seem to be tucked behind the sand dunes (most are not even visible from the beach), so there’s not the unobstructed view of the lake - but the big picture window affords a view of sunrise over the lake, a view of the Duluth ship entry, and I also enjoyed watching the wind on the grassy dune. I ate all my meals in and found the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. Highly recommend!

Very nearly perfect!

The location is perfect, right on Park Point but also right near Canal Park and the lift bridge. The place was clean and has everything you could need (except a dishwasher which was just fine for us).

Enjoyed our stay

Nice apartment tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Bed and furniture were comfortable. Owners were easy to contact and very helpful and accommodating. No problems whatsoever. My only disappointment (which I know the owners have no control over) was that I was hoping for more of a view of the lake from the large picture window. Unfortunately, the sand drifts were too high so only a small portion of the lake could be seen when standing at the window. It also would have been nice if the chiminea had been on some sort of deck or something more easily accessible to use and put chairs by but there was too much sand around it to make it easy to use. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great Location

Decided on a rental rather than a hotel, great choice with this property. The location was wonderful and the bungalow well cared for. Everything was as described in the listing and we would definitely stay again. Really is a 10*!

Last minute fall get away

Cozy, quiet place right on the beach - we could hear the roar of the surf from inside, awesome! The weather cooperated and we enjoyed walking along the beach and seeing several big ships come and go. We're close enough to the canal, we even walked down to watch the ship go through the canal and under the Aerial Bridge; very cool. The place was wonderful and the bed was comfy. Check out was a breeze, with no hassles of doing any "house keeping"; like so many other places we've stayed. That was a blessing! Only negative I can say is the towels were extremely rough. If you have sensitive skin, bring your own. We put this on our "go back" list for sure!

Mini-vacation

4 day/3night stay on the northshore with great access to restaurants and relaxing on the beach. The home has everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay with no stress. The owner was very detailed with what we needed to know. Highly recommend and we will choose this location again.

4 sisters in our 60’s. We had an awesome time. Kinda small for 4 adults, but worked great for us. Clean and a fabulous view. This is my second stay. Different people each time. I’ll be back!

Great location

Great location on the beach. We sat on the beach and watched the cargo ships coming and going as well as paddleboarders, kayaks, and sail boats. On a windy evening, we watched surfers and kite surfers. We walked across the lift bridge to Canal Park. The unit had everything we could need - even a nightlight, firewood, and a cribbage board. Our host texted before we arrived to let us know he may be unavailable at times and asked that we copy alternate contacts if we had questions to be sure we received a timely response and checked on us during the week. We would definitely stay here again .

Beautiful beach on Lake Superior!

I highly recommend this beautiful apartment on Park Point in Duluth! It's quiet and centrally located. It is walking distance to the boardwalk and many restaurants and shops or you can just enjoy your time looking out at the water! Lovely!

Wonderful property in great location!

We recently stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed it! The property is clean, comfortable, well stocked, and has a beautiful Lake Superior shoreline and scenic views. It is within walking distance to the Aerial Lift Bridge and numerous restaurants and stores. We saw a few massive boats coming and going. The property owner was very friendly & responsive and gave us many tips on where to dine, etc. We'd highly recommend this short-term rental property and will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our family and friends!

Best location

Apartment was as advertised. We were out and about to parks, bike paths etc…early in the day and then hung out at backyard beach until dinner. No better location in Duluth. Recommend Duluth Grill for a special meal.
