Canal Park Condo Duluth

Built in 1889, this historic building located in the heart of Canal Park will wow you with character. Inside your condo the massive Douglas fir beams and original 14 foot exposed brick walls are without compare. This fully furnished 1,250 square foot condominium comfortably sleeps 8 adults in the king bedroom with private bath, 2nd bedroom with 2 full beds, and fold out couch in the living room. The 2nd full bathroom and in-suite Jacuzzi add comfort for everyone. Although not stocked for a gourmet chef, the kitchen includes all of the amenities that you expect for a weekend retreat including a full size range, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher.

Outside your bedroom window is the William A. Irving Ore Boat which is available for tours; for a special treat come during October for the haunted ship! If fishing the big lake is on the menu, Duluth’s charter fleet is across the parking lot. If the weather keeps you in, take advantage of the indoor pool, hot tub, children’s shallow pool, or fitness center; and at the end of the day grab a drink at Hoops Brewing without ever stepping foot outside.

Duluth has year round opportunities and adventures to offer and conveniences are second to none as you will be within walking distance of the world renowned Aerial Lift Bridge, Maritime Museum, Bayfront Festival Park and Playground, Great Lakes Aquarium, North Shore Scenic Railroad, Amsoil Arena, Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center, many unique shops, and over a dozen eating and drinking establishments. If you’re in town to compete, nothing beats limping the two blocks back to your condo after finishing Grandmas Marathon or the North Shore Inline Marathon.

Not only is Duluth the gateway to the north shore of Lake Superior, a short drive from your condo will take you to Spirit Mountain Recreation Area, Saint Mary's Medical Center, Saint Lukes Hospital, the University of Minnesota Duluth, the College of St Scholastica, Lake Superior Zoo, Glensheen Mansion, and the Duluth International Airport.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay here in Duluth. The property was as described and very clean. It was convenient to everything Canal Park had to offer, everything was within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Place was in a great location and was big enough for our family of 6. Kitchen was great for cooking breakfast. The beds could use replaced specifically one of the full size and the pull out bed were wore out. Also, needs more lighting very dark. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. The location was amazing. Having access to the hotel amenities - gym, pool was nice. It was great to have the Hoops Brewery attached - we were happy to have it during NBA western conference finals. I’d recommend this property.

Canal Park visit

Enjoyed this conveniently located property for our family trip to Duluth! Easy access to Canal Park amenities. My kids enjoyed access to the hotel pool! Beds were comfortable and kitchen had what we needed.

Great loc - lots of room!

5 adults stayed comfortably in the 2 large bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked and had a nice dining area where we played games. Beds were comfy, showers had good water pressure and we enjoyed the fireplace too. Great communication from the owners - thank you!

Our unusual winter blizzard stay!!

This well kept and welcoming unit was cozy and convenient for our winter stay. We arrived during a blizzard and were snow bound the first three days. Thanks to two restaurants close by and an indoor hotel pool and exercise room, we were able to keep the kids entertained and fed. We had a great time!

Graduation Godsend

We needed somewhere to stay for graduation. We had to consider the size of our party and accessibility to the DECC for our 82 year old mom to walk for the ceremony. This place fit the bill. It accommodated us and was so affordable compared to getting 2 hotel rooms for the weekend. I couldn’t believe it had a hand mixer and mixing bowls so I could finish making the dessert. It was so comfortable and saved us so much money as we could make our own breakfasts and dinner. The hosts had excellent communication. We will be back

Canal Park Experience

What a gem of a property in the middle of all the action!! The apartment was spacious and beautiful. We were able to walk everywhere in Canal Park and also have access to the hotel’s amenities. I highly recommend this place!!

Great location! Great property!

The four of us are very happy with our stay at the condo. First, the host is an excellent communicator! They responded quickly with any questions we had. Next, the location is primo!! We walked to nearly all of the places we went. Then, the condo itself is just super cool within a repurposed historic building. Plus, free parking! We love Duluth and will stay at this condo again.

Location that can't be beat

Beautiful property that is charming, clean, spacious and centrally located to anything you might want to do near Lake Superior. It was great walking to all the attractions, shops, and restaurants. It was a real bummer that the pool and fitness area were under renovation. Luckily, there was enough to do that our kids didn't miss the pool too much.

Fabulous condo, excellent location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The check-in and parking instructions were excellent, and we loved being able to walk everywhere in Canal Park while also having the option to hang out and eat and swim in the condo/hotel building. The two-bedroom setup worked perfectly for us on our first trip as a family of 5. The availability of a pack and play was very helpful for our infant. We would definitely recommend this condo and are excited to stay here again on our next trip to Duluth!

Weekend away

The location is excellent! Only a few critiques, directions on where to actually enter the building were a bit vague, did not realize it was part of the Suites Hotel but once we figured this out it was easy. Parking is difficult to tell where to park since the lot is combined and at first look appears to be allocated to the restaurants that also share the building. Condo was great, amenities were as advertised. Would definitely stay again or recommend to others.

Condo in fabulous Canal Park district - walk everywhere

We wanted to spend the weekend in Duluth to celebrate my son's birthday and chose this rental for its great location. It was a great choice as we were able to walk everywhere. Took in a play at Norshor playhouse, visited the Aquarium, found some great local restaurants, and wow - two bars on the first floor of the building for local brews and custom cocktails. We didn't spend much time in the rental, but when there it was comfortable and quiet - even when the place was full of high school hockey players. The high ceilings and exposed huge old-wood columns and beams were neat to see. Ample parking was convenient in the rear of the complex and it was nice to have access to a pool, hot tub, and sauna. Thanks for enabling a relaxing weekend. We all had a great time.

The location is great, lots of options for shopping, restaurants & sight seeing just outside the door. We really appreciated having a full kitchen and took advantage of being able to cook up family favorite recipes. The fireplace made for cozy evenings of relaxing and visiting. We had a couple of issues upon check-in, but the host was quick to respond and dealt appropriately with our concerns.
