The gite was beautiful, very clean and well equipped. Jacques SORBIER and his wife, the hosts, were very hospitable and greeted us on our arrival. We managed to communicate via email, despite our basic level of French. The gite is in a lovely rural location with far reaching views of the countryside, but is well located to explore the surrounding villages of the Dordogne. The picturesque village of Saint Alvere is only 5 mins drive and the larger town of Bugue, with a supermarket, is only 15 mins drive. Highly recommend a stay at this gite.

De eigenaren zijn 2 super lieve mensen, en de ontvangst was warm. Huis is in Franse stijl van buiten en van binnen netjes gestuukt met Franse meubels. De keuken is zeer ruim, van alle gemakken voorzien, de living is groot. Slaapkamers zijn netjes van formaat, alleen de 2 persoonsbedden zijn heel erg klein en weinig comfortabel. De douches zijn netjes, je kan alleen niet in beide badkamers tegelijk douchen, want dat kan de waterdruk niet aan. Het zwembad is fijn en netjes onderhouden. Het uitzicht is onbetaalbaar. Kortom een zeer aangenaam verblijf en zeker een aanrader.

Merci pour vos appréciations élogieuses. Je précise cependant que les lits sont de dimensions normales et classiques. La literie est neuve. En ce qui concerne le débit d'eau, l'ensemble de la France (et en particulier le sud-ouest) souffre cet été de canicule. De ce fait, des restrictions d'eau ont été établies par les autorités. Ainsi le débit d'eau se trouve diminué. Désolé que vous ayez été incommodés.

Très bon accueil des propriétaires, par contre un peu chaud sur cette période de canicule, une Clim peut être dans les chambres serait la bienvenue. Vue au top, ajouter des arbres pour faire de l’ombre dans le jardin. Très bon séjour

Maison au calme et bien située.

Maison où on peut se reposer, se détendre grace à la magnifique piscine et au grand jardin.On est bien accueilli par les propriétaires super sympas.On recommande.Merci à Mr et Mme Sorbier.

De gastheren waren uiterst gastvrij, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het huis zelf mooi en rustig gelegen, prachtig uitzicht, ruim en geriefelijk (keuken, badkamer en sanitaire voorzieningen). De bedden hadden ook goede matrassen. Het enige minpuntje was de warmte binnen als het buiten warmer was dan 35 graden (tip; airco?) maar gelukkig was dit maar enkele dagen.

La cavalerie

Nous avons pu trouver le calme et l'espace que nous recherchions. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, la maison a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

hervorragender Gastgeber, herausragendes Ferienhaus

Die Gastgeber sind wahnsinnig freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Ferienhaus ist traumhaft gelegen und mit allen erdenklichen Dingen ausgestattet. Es fehlt nichts! Sehr individuell und liebevoll eingerichtet.
