2023 Ski trip

Perfect accommodations for our party of 5. Huge house with plenty of room. Definitely need an all wheel drive for the road to the house and the driveway. Only minutes away from Breckenridge ski drop off.

A Nightmare

To make a very long story short, there was no hot water or heat when it was in the negatives outside. Then there was a small gas explosion. We had to evacuate the house in panic. The fire department and ambulance had to come. This owner was too cheap to replace the boiler & the property management was too cheap to stop doing business with him despite this recklessness. To rent an unsafe and uninhabitable home is disgraceful. This was a nightmare for my family as we were there to celebrate my daughter turning 1. I had to grab my child and run out of the house as it shook, sounded like a bomb went off and things fell off of the wall. The plumber that came burned his face. The property management company then tried to put us into another rental that was too small to sleep the amount of people we had. Then the next property didn’t have heat in the main area until we spent an hour tinkering with it. Overall, a terrible experience despite folks at the company trying to be friendly to us. They did not offer a full refund. I had to demand it. It was salt in the wound. They did provide a Giftcard for food after ours was all ruined but $200 doesn’t get 10 people far in Breck. I also had to remind them that we had $350 worth of groceries and they sent a $175 Kings Soopers Giftcard; thanks for falling short again. This owner and property management company is frankly lucky they didn’t show up and there were 11 dead bodies from a larger gas explosion. Despicable.

Beautiful views

The property and views are beautiful. We had a party of 5 adults and had plenty of room. The kitchen is fully stocked. The jacuzzi was nice with 7 degree temperatures. Phots don’t show but it has a 2 car heated garage and an additional 1 car parking area. The radiant heat works great but we were hot at night when sleeping. There is 1 fan and no ceiling fans in the bedrooms to move fresh cooler air. All the mattresses are firm. The fireplace in the living room didn’t work and we were not notified prior to our trip. Also be aware if you haven’t traveled to high altitude’s be aware that you may get altitude sickness as we did.

Absolutely incredible!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Hunter’s Lodge!! From the moment I spoke with Alpine Management, I knew we would be taken care of and I was not wrong. The home, the company, the entire area cannot be beat. One note, the driveway does slope downward a good bit. A 4x4 or AWD in the winter is an absolute must!! We are already planning a trip back in the summer time!! Two places I can definitely recommend is Good Times Adventures and Briar Rose for the best Bison steak ever!!!! Thank you to the unique owners and Alpine for allowing us to have a memorable family vacation in your home❤

Great Location!

This was a beautiful home that accommodated our family very nicely! We had 8 adults stay comfortably in the home, ages ranged from 60's to 20's. Great location, close to Breck, and a short drive to Frisco! We cooked dinner every night in the home, played games, and enjoyed the beautiful views! We will be back!!
