Home is fully furnished and decorated. We supply all the linens, towels, toilet paper, body and hand soaps, lotion, shampoo and conditioner (fragrance and dye free), trash bags, laundry and dish washing detergents and cleaning supplies.

Local transportation:
Complimentary in town shuttle operates from November 1 to April 31 from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Not available in summer for free. Airport shuttles, Lyft and Uber can be purchased separately.

The home is surrounded by mature willow grove with leaves that shimmer and make the yard aglow all summer and in colorful foliage for the month of September.

We specifically designed this home to maximize privacy, sun and mountain views. We captured the feeling of having your own space where neighbors can't be seen or see you. Perfect for family moments:)

This is a beautiful house in an awesome setting!

Large, spacious rooms; awesome kitchen with anything you could possibly need to cook, bake, grill, etc!! The jacuzzi was well kept and regularly checked for chemical balance; and the game room was a hit! It was a spectacular setting for my family (adults and children).

Amazing vacation!

The house is just as beautiful as they show in the pictures and the views are amazing! We had the most wonderful place and time to stay with family as we celebrated our wedding! The kitchen is AMAZING (coming from someone who loves to cook) but there were no oven mits or cheese grader, so bring those with you!

Luxurious Mountain Getaway

We stayed at this property over a long weekend with family friends and had a wonderful time. The house is clean, spacious, and well furnished; it includes king sized beds and TVs in each bedroom, a fully appointed kitchen, and many amenities for families with infants/children. Additionally, with so little light pollution you'll be treated to an awe inspiring stargazing experience from the hot tub or the fire pit!

Snowy Stay!

We had an amazing stay at this home! It is the perfect location from town, not too far or too close and easy to get to. We visit Breckenridge often and this is the best place we have stayed yet! We did a lot of hiking in the mountains with our dog and everything is in close proximity to this awesome house! Such a fun place to stay, so much so that we had to coax our dog to get in the car the morning we were heading home, nobody wanted to leave! Super clean and well taken care of, we hope to come back and stay a couple more times this year!

Wonderful Breckenridge Home

We had a great time at this property in Breckenridge. Rob was extremely helpful and communicated actively with us. The home is beautiful. We had 12 with us and had enough room for everyone. The spa in the master bedroom is a must use! We would highly recommend this property.

Awesome house-15 min from Breckenridge downtown

Property was great! Pet-friendly and perfect for our family vacation. Great for entertaining and meals with other family members staying at another house. This kitchen was the best we’ve ever seen in a VRBO! Top of the line appliances, pots and pans.....everything you need in a kitchen! Owner was very responsive and easy to contact with questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

We celebrated my father’s 70th birthday at this property. It was so spacious and well equipped. We had 6 adults and one 2 year old and we had more than enough room. The view is spectacular and the property manager is great to communicate with! We will definitely be staying here next ski season!

Great house and great owner

Loved everything about the house and our experience. The kitchen was fully stocked, the back yard was lovely, and the communication with the owner was outstanding. Would have liked the hot tub just a few degrees warmer, but it was great anyway. Had two resident foxes that liked to pay us a visit outside , so I'd make sure not to feed them. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Our family enjoyed our stay in Breckenridge. The house worked well for all of us. However, there are no blinds on the bedroom windows which would have helped with heat reduction in the bedrooms as well as grandchild waking with the sun at 5:00 am instead of 7:00 am.

I personally prefer to waking with the sunrise... The early sunlight in the summer is an issue for guests that prefer otherwise. :) We have measured for night sky compliance blinds/drapes and will be installing them over the next few weeks, first in the bedrooms. In the interim, we are supplying new sleeping masks for each guest. I will update the progress we are making with new pictures on-line and a status update on this review. This home is in a high alpine environment that stays the perfect cool temperatures with simple cross ventilation. I'll be adding detailed instructions on how to easily manage the heating and cooling of the home. Every day this home gets closer to perfect! Bob

We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do, while exploring all the amazing things that Summit County has to offer!

Why they chose this property

The Lakeshore Retreat is perfectly located among all the best that Breckenridge has to offer! We are located minutes from downtown Breckenridge's vibrant shopping, dining, and nightlife. If you don't want to drive, there is a daily shuttle that picks up in front of the neighborhood that takes you to both downtown, and Breckenridge Resort for some of the best skiing and snowboarding that Colorado has to offer.
Simply put, you get the peace and quiet of not dealing with the downtown "noise", along with the convenience of being there in minutes.

In the summertime, we are located less than a mile from the Quandry Peak (14er) trail head, as well as many other popular hiking and biking areas. There are also plenty of other summer activites nearby, including whitewater rafting, fly fishing, etc.

What makes this property unique

The seclusion and privacy that our house provides, is second to none. You can watch the wildlife (Moose, deer, elk) that visit the two nearby lakes from the hot tub, relaxing around the fire pit, or from your bedroom balcony.
The evening sunsets over Quandry Peak make for an experience that you will not forget!
