About this property
Remodeled luxury home, 3 king bedroom suites, steps to Third Street
The View & Vine Park House is a newly renovated luxury home just two blocks to award-winning Third Street in downtown McMinnville. You'll enjoy three King bedroom/bathroom suites, a dream kitchen, and a gorgeous back garden.
You'll also enjoy an ideal location: centrally located within a 15 min drive to the Willamette Valley's top wineries AND just a few blocks to tasting rooms, breweries, restaurants & shops: walk score of 90.
The front door opens into a double-height entryway with a custom built-in bench and storage. To the left of the entry is a large, cozy living room with an amazingly comfortable sectional and a gorgeous natural gas fireplace. Above it, the flat screen SmartTV is equipped with Roku for streaming. To the right of the entry, the beautiful dining room features two paintings from local artists and seating for six; a sunny art room off of the living room is stocked with art supplies, an easel, desk and ergonomic chair - perfect for getting some work done or being creative.
The kitchen is a dream, with custom mint cabinets, a huge Kohler farm sink with a picture window overlooking the back yard, a six burner GE Monogram stove, a custom-built walnut island with an outlet and seating, and tons of open shelving to keep essentials in easy view. Everything you need to cook meals is included, down to the olive oil, spices, sugar, flour and kosher salt: just add your groceries. Local coffee, tea and accompaniments are also included.
Each bedroom has a king bed with a supportive and oh-so-comfortable medium-firm gel memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets, a plush down-like duvet and four pillows of varying firmness. USB and pronged outlets are easily accessible at each side of every bed for charging your devices. Both upstairs bedrooms also have built-in desks under the dormers, with a cushioned chair and an outlet. For light sleepers, a white noise machine in each bedroom is available to smooth over any road noise from Adams Street.
All bedrooms have their own private, naturally-lit bathrooms – two with walk-in tiled showers, and one with a bathtub. Ultra-fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, cotton swabs and an upscale real-deal hair dryer are in each bathroom. The laundry room at the top of the stairs has a side-by-side front loading LG washer and dryer with steam function, a walnut folding counter, hanging rod, wash sink, ironing board and iron. Free & clear laundry detergent and stain spray is supplied.
French doors lead from the kitchen to a brick patio and gorgeously landscaped back garden. String lights sway over an extra long teak table and plush outdoor sofas; the copper firepit is a favorite cozy spot on cooler nights. The Weber grill runs on natural gas, and there's also an edible garden area, with beds planted with a mix of vegetables, herbs and flowers that guests are welcome to make use of. Finally, in the front, there is off-street parking for up to 3 cars.

About the host
Hosted by Laura McGlynn

I'm a designer and business owner, and left South Florida in 2018 for a move to the Willamette Valley. My husband Eric and I love food, wine, travel and creative design, and we embrace a mobile lifestyle - well, as much as we can with the newest addition to our family: our son, Wesley.
With our company, View & Vine, we've purposefully redesigned three charming homes in the Willamette Valley into modern vacation rentals for creative work/life travelers who share the same passions. We also share our favorite local restaurants, wineries, shops and experiences on our website and on insta @viewandvine.

Why they chose this property
A short time after we purchased a small cottage in Newberg we discovered McMinnville, and fell head over heels for this beautiful home on Park Drive. After two years spent searching for land, and finding that we were increasingly being priced out of a highly appreciating market, we decided that being in downtown McMinnville might work best for us after all – we just couldn’t pass up the chance to be walking distance to Third Street. We made the leap and purchased the Park House in the summer of 2016.
What makes this property unique
The stunning 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom Park House is just two blocks to award-winning Third Street. With three ensuite bedrooms, a dream kitchen, and an extensive back garden, it’s the perfect vacation home for hosting family and friends in comfort and style.
The most luxurious benefit? Being within easy walking distance to downtown McMinnville’s charming boutiques, wineries, breweries and restaurants.
