The house was amazing. Great views great space. It was just steps away from Sugar Mountain ski slope big Burch. Communication was great through the host. We had four people with us and could have used some more washcloths and towels so keep that in mind. Internet wasn’t that great either. Streaming would buffer a lot. Overall great place and would definitely come back.

Great view! Very comfy condo
We had a great stay! Condo is well furnished, comfortable and we loved the view of the mountains and ski slopes.. very quiet area but 8 minutes from the stores.. can’t wait to go back!
The place was so comfortable, had ample room for the 4 of us & was perfect for a 2 night stay. The view was incredible & we enjoyed watching the skiers on Sugar Mountain.
Great views all the way around. Plenty of space for us all to enjoy together.

Sugar Mountain Retreat
We loved the condo, it was comfortable and you loved the way you felt there. You walked in and said, it just smells good here. The views were beautiful and the bed was comfortable. So glad we were able to stay here and look forward to going back.
Great location for day trips to Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock. Amenities were everything we wanted including cable tv and central air, which is hard to find in the mountains. Overall clean but as with any rental property, it could use a good deep cleaning, just some dust in corners, etc. The water pressure in the main bathroom was fantastic! It was a very comfortable stay.

Bittersweet Stay
My husband and I have stayed at The Reserve several times in other condo rentals. This particular condo was beautiful, well appointed and the view was gorgeous. We had planned to stay 4 days / 3-nights but mother nature had other plans as we cut our stay short due to Hurricane Helena. We would definitely stay here again ~~ we hope and pray for all those affected by this horrendous storm.
I don’t like to get bad reviews but there were a few setbacks, everything was resolved, and the stay was a perfect trip with me, and my two sons. Furnishings were nice extremely clean, great views of the ski slope or downhill mountain biking. We will be back!

Wonderful home base for our trip
Great condo for our fall color trip to the "High Country" of NW North Carolina!
Online photos looked so nice that I was a little leary it would be as shown, but I was wrong - it was exactly 💯 % spot on!
Only spent 3 nights to visit Grandfather Mountain, multiple waterfalls, Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock. All these areas were so close to Sugar Mountain.
The condo was very inviting...exceptionally clean, well stocked kitchen that we used a few times and we always had the fireplace going when we were there. Would definitely not hesitate to book this property again!
Had to leave morning after arrival due to frozen pipes and sewage backing up into tubs, showers and toilets. Called Vacasa for help and no one called back, left and found somewhere else to stay, they are supposedly refunding our money.

Quick Response
We discovered there was no running water when we arrived. Elizabeth got in touch with us quickly and sent someone out to look at it. The water had been turned off due to a recent hurricane and William was able to fix the water issue promptly. The stay was relaxing and the condo was beautiful! Vacasa was easy to work with and we can’t wait to go back.
Condo was nice and roomy. Clean. Guest bed was worn and not comfortable. If snow expected you need 4 wheel drive as condo is at botttom of several hills. Ski lifts viewable and could see skiers going down hill. Could hear snow blowing equipment through the night

Thank you, Barbara, for your feedback! We are happy you enjoyed this home. We sincerely apologize you have found few issues in the home. Please know that your feedback is essential, and we have passed your comments along to our local manager, who will work with the homeowner to make any updates. We truly hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future.
The property is quite lovely and located at the top of a long, winding drive on Sugar Mountain. The views from the deck were spectacular although sunsets were really not a thing as the house did not face west. We did not receive accurate directions and got a bit turned around getting there. If you can plug your GPS in with the address though, you should have no problems. There are only two suggestions I have for the property, one is to get new pillows for the beds and the second is to provide instructions on how to access cable and the streaming channels.
