The ground-floor apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a spacious living-dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and much more. A small garden with patio, seating and umbrellas invites you to relax or cozy get-together - a little barbecue and sun loungers are also available.

Summer:
Hiking and climbing enthusiasts know the advantages of Matrei. From here you can easily reach the Grossglockner, Grossvenediger and reach numerous hiking and climbing trails.
Family travelers the area offers exciting attractions - from smaller walking routes, on horseback, high ropes course, rafting / canyoning and much more.

In summer the heated outdoor pool of the plant is also often used for cooling.

Winter:
The spacious, family-friendly and snow-sure high alpine ski resort Grossglockner Resort - Kals is navigable and easily accessible by ski bus directly from Matrei.

The ski bus runs every 15 minutes from the Market Square (about 100 meters away from the apartment) directly to the gondola. Alternatively, you can drive the 1.5 km to the lift by car, parking spaces are available. The best infrastructure - bakeries and butchers in the immediate vicinity (100-300m).

A heated ski room with boot dryer is also available.

It was good, However we had to pay 12 $ per person extra for the bed sheet and duvet cover, pillow cases ( Bettwaesche ) and we had to pull off them before leaving th e property...It is unusual.

Schön zu hören, dass grundsätzlich alles gepasst hat. Die Ferienwohnung ist nicht Teil eines Hotelbetriebes mit Mietwäsche, sodass die Bettwäsche von der Betreuerin gewaschen werden muss. Daher empfehlen wir die Mitnahme der Bettwäsche & Handtücher, ansonsten kostet es eben 12€. In der Anlage unseres anderen Ferienhauses verlangt der Betreiber 12,90€ für die Mietwäsche, abholbar in der Rezeption.

Sauber, gehoben ausgestattet und sehr schöne Lage.

Das Appartment war sehr gut und gemütlich eingerichtet und für 4-5 Leute ist wirklich genügend Platz. Wir waren im Sommer da und haben den Gemeinschaftspool immer wieder gern genutzt. Die Anlage ist durchdacht (Müll-Entsorgung/Tiefgerage unterirdisch zugänglich) und sehr gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

We had a very pleasant stay at the appartment and the kids really enjoyed the pool. All you need is available (BBQ, sun loungers + sun umbrella, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, flatscreen TV, DVD player, audio system, ...). Two underground parking spaces are available, with a stairs leading directly to the front door. The interiour is exactly as advertised. The two bathrooms are spacious and very clean. Do keep in mind to bring your own bed linen!

Sehr schöner Urlaub!

Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts! Sauberkeit der Wohnung war, bis auf klebrige Oberflächen in der Küche, in Ordnung. Der Geteilte Poolbereich ist sehr schön angelegt und bietet eine fantastische Aussicht auf ein wundervolles Bergpanorama. Zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung waren kaum Wohnungen belegt, so dass man wunderbar seine Ruhe hatte - in Zeiten von Corona ein wahrer Vorteil :-) Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war stets freundlich und zuverlässig! Wir Waren 4 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind und hatten mehr als genug Platz. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Tolle Wohnung, gute Lage

Die Wohnung liegt zentral in Matrei, Restaurants, Bäcker, Metzger in fußläufiger Nähe. 6 Erwachsene und1-2 Kinder im Babyalter haben genügend Platz, 2 weitere könnten auf die Schlafcouch. Küche und die gesamte Wohnung sind sehr gut ausgestattet, tolle Bäder! Supermärkte wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, ebenso der Skilift Auch per Skibus einfache Anfahrt zum Lift, dort kann man gute Ausrüstung leihen und Ski-Depot gibt es auch. Soll wohl auch im Sommer toll sein zum wandern etc - dann wäre der Gemeinschaftspool bestimmt auch Klasse. Während des Aufenthalts (über Weihnachten) lief die Heizung in einem der Zimmer auf max und liess sich nicht runter drehen-der Vermieter und die Hausmeisterin haben ihr bestes gegeben uns zu helfen, ein Techniker hat das Problem am letzten Tag gelöst, zum Glück war es zu heiss und kein Ausfall der Heizung. Vermieter ist sehr gut, Abwicklung gut und Kaution schnell erstattet. Im Vorfeld könnte man etwas mehr mit Tips (auf Nachfrage) helfen (Restaurants, Skivermietung, Info das die Bäckerei einen Brötchen-Service hat etc), aber da haben wir wahrscheinlich auch hohe Ansprüche, nix dramatisches. Generell sehr zu empfehlen!

Es handelt sich um eine sehr schöne und moderne Wohnung im Erdgeschoss eines zur Alpinlodge gehörendem Gebäude. Matrei ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern und es gibt gute Restaurants. Das einzige das wir in der Wohnung vermisst haben war eine Waschmaschine.

Geniale Ferienwohnung in traumhafter Umgebung!

Die Wohnung ist traumhaft. Tolle Aufteilung, hochwertige Bäder, in der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Toll fanden wir die zusätzliche Abstellkammer, in der wir alle Vorräte verstauen konnten. Auch Jacken und Schuhe konnte man problemlos unterbringen. Das Auto steht direkt unter der Wohnung in der Tiefgarage. Perfekt ;-) Einzig allein der Ort hat uns nicht so gefallen. Hier war überhaupt nichts los. Mit Kindern mussten wir jeden Tag mit dem Auto los. Das kannten wir aus Flachau anders. Dafür hat die Umgebung entschädigt! Traumhafte Kulisse von der Adlerlounge. Wir können diese Wohnung jedem empfehlen. Und hat es an nichts gefehlt! Vielen Dank!

Perfekt !

Wir haben einen sehr schöne Winterurlaub in der gemütlichen, hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung und in dem schönen Skigebiet Matrei/Großglockner verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig und so gut aufgeteilt , dass wir auch mit sieben Personen bestens Platz hatten. Alles ist vorhanden und die Einrichtung ist so schön, geschmackvoll und durchdacht, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt haben. Wir waren uns z.B. einig noch nie so komfortabel auf einer Schlafcouch geschlafen zu haben. Es gibt zwei hochwertig ausgestattete Bäder und eine Gästetoilette, so dass es auch nie "Stau" im Badezimmer gab. Auch die Lage innerhalb des Ortskerns und zu dem Skigebiet ist perfekt. Zwei Minuten Fußweg zum Skibus und zum Ortskern, wo man alles bekommt (Bäcker, Fleisch, Gemüse, Cafés, Restaurants). Zu den großen Supermärkten fährt man fünf Minuten mit dem Auto/Bus oder läuft ca 15 Minuten. Auch die Landschaft ist wunderschön und das Skigebiet war für uns als Familie bestens und ausreichend. Der Vermieter hat alle unsere Fragen prompt und freundlich beantwortet und auch die Abrechnung und die Rückzahlung der Kaution haben reibungslos geklappt. Eine klare Empfehlung !

Beste Erholung inmitten der Berge

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hatte alles, was wir benötigten. Sie ist zentral gelegen und doch nicht mitten im Trubel. Bäcker, Bank und der interessante Essensautomat beim Fleischer sind gleich in der Nähe. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool sehr genossen und dank der Tiefgarage brauchten wir nach den Ausflügen nicht erst nach einem Parkplatz zu suchen. Die Kommunikation mit Ehepaar Schmid war zudem sehr angenehm. Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt und gern wieder!
