Best view in Wintergreen! Large, comfortable 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo.

3-bedroom 3-bathroom condo in The Vistas with beautiful views of the mountains, the valley, and the slopes. Perfect for family vacations, golf retreats, hiking, skiing, or any reason you want to get away. Make your favorite meal in the well stocked kitchen and walk right on over to the dining area or the living room and eat your meals looking out at the beautiful landscape! To please all coffee lovers, we have a Nespresso Ventura machine with plenty of pods as well as an Oxo 8 cup coffee maker. We also have an insta-pot, a ninja blender, and a flip Belgian waffle maker. Be sure to wake up early at least one morning to watch the sun rise over the Blue Ridge mountains. Enjoy the 75 inch Samsung Frame Smart TV in the living room or quality sound from the new Sonos speakers with a subwoofer. The living room offers a wood burning fireplace. Wood is regularly stocked mid-October through mid-March. All of our guests are supplied with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, and trash bags.

One of the bedrooms is fitted with 2 sets of bunk beds. The loft bedroom offers a queen size bed and a cozy couch. The loft also has a desk where you can work sitting down or standing up. The master bedroom offers a king size bed and its own bathroom. The master also has an 75 inch wall mounted Smart TV. All of the beds have 100% cotton and down duvets and all of the mattresses are modern adaptive foam blend. Very comfortable! There are duplicate wireless phone chargers next to the queen and king size beds. This condo offers the best of both worlds-vacationing with the family and being able to have your own space!

Skiing, tubing and shopping are located within a 5 minute drive of the condo. Off the mountain, enjoy the many local breweries, wineries and restaurants - Devils Backbone, Veritas Winery, Bold Rock Cidery, Giuseppe's Restaurant to name a few. There is also a grocery store, ABC Store, and Dollar General in Nellysford. If you are here during the summer and you like a good farmer’s market, be sure to go to ones on Saturday morning in Waynesboro or Nellysford. We love both of them.

Please note: We are not considered "Resort Members" so you will not have access to The Devils Grill, Devils Knob Golf Course or the Wintergarden Spa. You may be able to book a spa treatment to access the indoor pool etc. but we HIGHLY recommend checking with the resort directly to confirm.

We highly recommend reserving your lift tickets and ski equipment in advance as they are NOT guaranteed. Check the Wintergreen Resort website for availability.

Guests will have access to the Chestnut Springs and Rodes Farm outdoor pools from 2PM to 6PM. (Memorial Day Weekend-Labor Day Weekend). A valid I.D. will be required for access. Lake Monocan is also available on Sundays, Tuesday-Friday. Check the WPOA website for hours and pricing.

The use of motorcycles are prohibited on the mountain. Guests driving motorcycles will need to park at the Wintergreen PD and have transportation up to the condo.

EARLY CHECK INS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED. Check with us a few days prior to your stay to see if we can accommodate an early-check in. Early check-ins are NOT guaranteed.

We won't be available in person but are always reachable through the app. You'll be provided with an emergency contact during your stay as well.

Please note: There is a NO-smoking policy at this condominium that includes the balconies & stairwells.

Wonderful painting trip

Hi, there were two of us at the condo. It was a very easy check in, and we found the condo to be just as pretty as on the website. The view was beautiful, and the owners have stocked the condo perfectly so we could stay there comfortably without having to buy too much other than our main food. Outstanding property with beautiful views of the mountain and the ski resort, and plenty of room for my wife and I, our daughter and son-in-law, and their two children. About the only complaint was the lack of hand soap in the three bathrooms, but other than that, it was perfect. Would definitely love to return!

The condo is in a beautiful location in the Vistas section with beautiful Mountain Views. It is an older unit and the bathrooms are the original fixtures, sinks, tubs, showers, toilets and tiles but they were very clean. The decor was updated and very nice. The kitchen was well equipped and all appliances worked well. This unit had no deck/porch to speak of so we did miss sitting outside for meals and enjoying the view but the view was very visible through the wall of windows in the living and dining area. The bed in the master bedroom in the upstairs loft was very comfortable.

Great weekend getaway

Booked this property as a Christmas gift for a fun weekend with our two teenagers plus two of their friends to ski and go tubing at Wintergreen. The view from the property was INCREDIBLE! Everything inside is very well kept, clean and looked just like the pictures. Well stocked with dishes and pots/pans for cooking. Easy parking, and just a 5 minute drive to the main resort. Even appreciated the card games - more laughter, less screen time! Thank you for having us! We would definitely book this property again.

Perfect New Year’s Getaway

The view from the condo is breathtaking and the east-facing view at sunrise was especially lovely. The condo has a well-equipped kitchen, where we prepared all our meals. The bedroom arrangement worked well for us, with our three grandchildren (ages 7, 8 & 8) sharing the room with bunk beds. And the beds were all very comfortable. We enjoyed the cozy fires we built in the fireplace, as we played board games, listened to music, and rang in the new year in the spacious great room. This was a perfect place for our new years family getaway.

Nice property with a good view

The property had a good interior view of the mountains and was very well maintained and provisioned. The furnishing were nice and comfortable. The balcony is much smaller than other units we have rented. I was surprised upon stripping the bed to see that the mattress pad was dirty and some of the air vents had visible dust accumulations. Overall, this is a very nice property.

We live in Falls Church and LOVE going up to Wintergreen. There is something special about being in the mountains and the view is something that never gets old!

Why they chose this property

It’s rare that you can stay in a ski resort at the top of the mountain. We enjoy looking out at the Blue Ridge mountains and can easily access great hiking trails and skiing from the condo.

What makes this property unique

When we bought our place in 2020, we thought about totally renovating it. After visiting a number of times, the charm of the original design grew on us, so we kept the same floor plan and wooden walls and ceiling. Instead, we invested in giving the place the best beds, bedding, appliances and a great sound system. I think the quality of the little things, combined with the charm of the original Wintergreen design is what brings many of our guests back year after year. (And the view, of course). We hope you all enjoy it as well!
