My husband and I have just returned from a fabulous 2 week holiday with our 2 dogs. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. There if you need anything but not intrusive of our holiday. The gite is lovely. Bed very comfortable and everything clean. Hot water all the time. Everything you need in the kitchen. Air con unit in the lounge and fans upstairs. The garden is the gem. It is huge with mature trees for shade, a pétanque pitch, picnic table and bbq. A few steps across the shared driveway but then totally enclosed and safe for your pets and or children. The pool was heated to a lovely temperature too. Chickens, a cockerel, a pony and horse wander around the other side of the fence which was lovely. Peaceful and so relaxing. We enjoyed a trip to Chateau D’Usse… highly recommend! Dog friendly too. Also twice we walked along the river to La Chapelle sur Loire and had a fabulous lunch at the restaurant Nuances. Our dogs swam in the river along the route. (You need to walk approx 200 metres in the wrong direction along the road to find the path to drop down to the river side path) We also enjoyed exploring Chinon old town very much. Nearby (5 min drive) in Bourgueil is the massive Super U Supermarket which is brilliant. Also in Bourgueil are numerous wineries. We visited the ones near the Abbey. We had a lovely impromptu lunch in the gardens of hotel le thouarsais - chez Pylo’gis. Dog friendly and so welcoming. We hope to go back and would highly recommend.

Excellent holiday

From a bottle of wine as a welcoming gift to having our own pool this is a great place to stay. Our hosts, Laetitia and Amelien, we're delightful and always there to help. The accommodation has everything we needed and the location is perfectly placed to explore the Chateau's and museums in the area. A great place for a family with lots of space outside. We would highly recommend staying here. Thanks again to our hosts!!!!

Perfect little Gite for families or people with Pets

The pictures don’t do the property justice, we were a couple who went with our three dogs. The Gite was spacious and had all the amenities you would need, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, and the kitchen was well equipped. The garden is enclosed, perfect for reactive dogs, the pool area is gated off. The garden has a bbq, and a number of games. The family running the Gite were welcoming, and let us have our privacy. The location is brilliant, there’s a large supermarket less than a ten min drive, it’s also close to a number of small towns and chateaus.

À refaire sans hésiter

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille . Nous avons bien profité du jardin, de la piscine, de la maison . Merci à nos hôtes qui sont adorables, très à l'écoute . Bien que leur maison soit mitoyenne ils sont très discrets, ce qui est assez rare.Un très joli séjour ! Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute!

Top vakantie!

Onze 11 daagse verblijf hier was erg goed! Eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het weer was ook erg goed, waardoor we volop van het zwembad hebben kunnen genieten. Hebben ook veel van de omgeving kunnen zien, veel op pad geweest. Als je van het bekijken van kastelen/chateau's houdt, hoef je je zeker niet te vervelen.

Une rénovation parfaite le mobilier en parfait état un electo ménager fonctionnel une literie excellente le tout d'une propreté remarquable. Ceruse sur le gâteau une magnifique piscine implantée sur un terrain ombragé entouré de poules moutons coq ânes chevaux un enchantement pour les enfants. Nous avons passés un agréable week-ends. Très bon accueil des propriétaires (simple discret et efficace) ce que nous recherchions. Location au calme et agréable malgré la proximité avec nos hôtes, très peu d’échanges et je crois qu’en 20 ans c’est la première fois où je ne me sens pas le bienvenu dans une location ! Bon séjour quand meme avons bien profité de l’extérieur et des caves aux alentours!

Famille sympathique et souriante. Cependant, un locataire un peu encombrant et non déclaré lors de la réservation s'est invité: un berger allemand assez bruyant. Mais le gîte a été rendu très propre, c'est appréciable. Malgré la contiguïté de notre logement, nous mettons un point d'honneur à nous faire discrets afin que nos hôtes aient la sensation d'être dans un espace pleinement à eux, navré que cette discrétion n'ai pas été appréciée... Enfin, il est fort dommage que les vacanciers soient partis "à la volée" sans même dire au revoir.

Un WE en famille très réussi

Gite très fonctionnel, accueil familiale très sympathique. WE parfait pour des enfants de 8 et 10 ans, parfait pour cette tranche d'âge. Proximité de lieux touristiques de choix. Magnifique séjour !

Gite très bien équipé où tout est fait pour se sentir chez soi. Il est situé au calme mais les commerces sont à quelques minutes (en voiture) et c'est un point de départ idéal pour toutes les promenades de cette belle région. Laetitia, son mari et leurs filles sont extrêmement gentils et accueillants. Nos 2 toutous avaient un bel espace à leur disposition. Il n'a manqué que quelques degrés supplémentaires pour profiter de la piscine et du barbecue, à l'occasion d'un prochain séjour, sûrement !

Un accueil chaleureux par la propriétaire. Tout est fait pour qu'on se sente comme à la maison. Les lits sont faits à notre arrivée, serviettes de bains, des produits de tous les jours sont mis à disposition. tout est bien pensé. Ca faisait longtemps que je n'avais eu une agréable surprise en réservant. Allez-y les yeux fermés. Bon séjour.
