Located in Varrains, this 88 sqm vacation home accommodates up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom. The property is a fully restored historic house located in the heart of a wine village, just 100 meters from the bakery and tobacco shop. Châteaux de Brézé and Montreuil-Bellay, Bioparc de Doué-la-Fontaine in Anjou, and troglodyte villages are all within a 15 kilometer radius. Homemade jam is provided, and house linens are available for an extra fee. Cleaning service is available for an extra fee, and electricity participation applies during winter months from October to March.

A cosy nook.

This peaceful, clean, fully equipped, nicely rustic gite is ideally placed for exploring many of the attractions of the Loire around Saumur, not least the chateau at Saumur. In the tranquil village of Varrains, one is only minutes away from the extensive commercial facilities offered by Saumur. The hosts are friendly, welcoming, unobtrusive yet available for advice about their area. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommended. Our thanks to M and Mme Girard.

Très agreable séjour à Varrain

,Que de richesses architecturales et patrimoniales en Anjou. Sans oublier les vins de Loire ! Le petit village de Varrains est très bien situé pour se rendre dans de nombreux sites (châteaux, troglodytes, jolis villages). Et le gîte, typique de la région est très agréable, propre et bien aménagé.

alles gut, nette Vermieter! Es gab nur einen Punkt, der uns als Deutsche stört (deshalb auch keine Kritik an Vermieter, sondern nur als Hinweis an andere Besucher): Es gibt keine Oberbetten, wie sie in vielen anderen Ländern und frz. Hotels üblich sind, sondern nur Wolldecken. Diese passten auch nicht wirklich in unsere mitgebrachte Bettwäsche. Wer sich also in gewohnter Weise in sein Feder- oder Synthetikbett kuscheln will, muss es sich mitbringen.

Logement bien situé et au calme

Nous avons découvert une belle région , et étions bien situé pour visiter de nombreux châteaux , caves , champignonnières , maisons troglodytes . Le logement à 5km à peine de Saumur entoures de vignobles et au calme. Et merci à la propriétaire qui nous a fait découvrir son domaine, ses incroyables caves et déguster son vin .

Très agréable séjour en famille à Varrains

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au coeur des vignes dans ce petit logement de caractère. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la famille Girard et avons particulièrement apprécié la visite de leur domaine viticole. Le logement, sur 3 niveaux, est bien entretenu et bien équipé.
