Welcome to Casa Bella in the heart of Sam Hughes Historical Neighborhood. This 1950's architecturally designed home has been completely refurbished without imposing on the integrity and style of its original design. A cozy yet contemporary interior will make you feel at home the minute you enter its naturally lit living space.

The house is centrally located in one of Tucson's most sought out neighborhoods. Wind down in the serene surroundings of its beautiful desert landscaped front and back yards which are enclosed for your privacy.

Within walking distance are many local restaurants. Neighborhood market/restaurant, Floras Market Run (the former historic Rincon Market), Bob Dobbs, Tumerico (vegan). Also, the University of Arizona, shopping, parks, tennis, zoo, library and public transportation. Enjoy early morning and evening walks in our mild Arizona weather as you witness some of the most breathtaking sunsets ever.

Such a cute house! It was stocked up on all the essentials and had an especially well stocked kitchen for a rental property (spice rack, pots & pans) The location was central and perfect for visiting all the different sites that Tucson has to offer. The host was also very welcoming and friendly. I would 100% recommend a stay here!

Beautiful home, with an amazing kitchen for cooking. Very comfortable bed (we just used the bedroom with bathroom as there were only 2 of us). Recycling available. Enjoyed the birds that visited the yard (Verdin, Vermillion Flycatcher, Gila Woodpecker, Mockingbird along with the House Finches and Mourning Doves. Great Horned Owl in the neighborhood also.) Host responded quickly whenever I had a question.

The host was so gracious, friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped. It was pretty, cozy and accommodating for 6 adults. The location was great, in a pretty, safe and walkable neighborhood. We had a great time!

Wonderful, comfortable gathering place for us during U of A Family weekend. Great location- near our daughter’s house and enjoyed walking to the park in the mornings. Furniture was comfortable for relaxing and beds were comfy. Overall a great stay, location and would definitely stay again!

The house was spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped, the house was tastefully decorated, and the furniture was attractive, simple and comfortable. I had a few questions for the host and her replies were immediate and helpful. Our grandsons, 9 and 11, were quickly "at home" there. The house is in a great neighborhood. and we all enjoyed walking to Himmel Park, the U of A, and the (ice) Screamery. We hope to return.

The host was welcoming and answered all questions. The exterior gates were secure. The kitchen was stocked well with cooking and eating utensils. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and roomy. Great location.With these Sonoran restaurant within walking distance. We enjoyed the gift card that was provided for this restaurant.

This beautiful home in a beautiful walkable neighborhood was perfect for our stay, attending a wedding in Tucson. The home was spotless, and anything we needed was at our fingertips. The hosts were welcoming left clear notes for internet, parking, etc. we especially loved an entrance code on the door instead of a key.

Great conveniently located home that was perfect for University of Arizona move-in staging over the course of a few days, and shooting to Tucson scenic attractions. The house was perfectly clean and had all amenities to make our stay very enjoyable. The front & rear yard areas were beautiful sitting out early morning and evening enjoying nature & beautiful skies.

Great location in Tucson

This was our 2nd year at Lil and Henry’s home. They make staying there easy. We used the free streetcar which was 1 mile away to go to the St Patrick’s Parade, Festival of Books, 4th Ave Street Fair, Arizona Transportation Museum and more.

Perfect Sam Hughes House!

This house is fantastic!! We have been staying around UofA for the last few years while our son was at school. I wish we had found this great house sooner! The house is very clean, comfortable, has all you need for a family. The front and back yard are spacious and great outdoor spaces. I hope we can stay again for a future homecoming. And thank you to our hosts for their great communication.

Close to U of A

We had a wonderful weekend visiting our daughter, who attends the U of A. The house is about 5 minutes from campus. It has very clean, with newer furnishings. We liked that it had cable TV, not just apps, so we could watch sports, etc.. We would definitely stay here again.

Sam Hughes Bungalow

We love Lillian’s place! The neighborhood it’s in is beautiful and it’s so convenient to great restaurants, the University, Sabino Canyon and downtown. Plus, Lillian is great to work with. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
