My family and I absolutely loved our stay. The house was clean and very comfortable to stay in. Beach and gift shops were within walking distance and any other attraction was within 20min drive time. Would definitely come to stay again and definitely recommend.

The house was clean with plenty of room. With it being one block from the beach and a quick trip to the main road the location was perfect for us.

Great Family Rental

The kitchen was fully stocked making it perfect for family meals. The walking distance was easy to get to the beach every day. Grill was perfect, outdoor shower, laundry room were clean. Cozy cottage

Had a great time. the cottage did need some love and care . Had a few things falling apart screen doors and dresser drawers and the gate needs a new latch. But it’s was nice and a great area and close to the beach

Unique beach house

Our family had a lovely week vacation stay in the Barefoot Turtle. We will definitely stay again at this house. It suited our family perfectly. The only thing is the outside lighting ground level didn’t work. The fenced yard was great for our pups.

The Barefoot Turtle

House and property was very clean. Plenty of room for a family of 6. Was only 2 blocks to the beach, restaurant and bars. Major grocery stores and shopping stores only a short drive. We enjoyed are stay and would highly recommend. Would go back

House was in poor condition. Very hot upon arrival, many broken things, grass unmowed, not very clean, many lightbulbs out, and inadequate kitchen supplies. Was in nice neighborhood near beach, we did like the location.

It was big enough for. Just a little disappointed the yard was not mowed. I couldn’t take our Granddaughter out in the backyard to play. The grass was a little high. Other than that everything was good. Thank you for letting us stay there.

Overall, this is a great place and we would return. It was really roomy and so nice to have enough room for me and my husband, 3 kids and 2 of their friends. The house is tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable; the listing says they are queen size, but they're actually all double (apart from the 2 twin beds).The yard, particularly the back yard, could use some upkeep. But we didn't spend much time back there. Everything was clean, which is really important to us. Thank you for a good week!

Spacious and dog friendly

We had a great time staying at the Barefoot Turtle. Very clean, plenty of towels and lots of space for everyone. It’s an older beach home but is exactly like you see in the pictures. The kitchen has what you need but aside from salt and pepper, you have to plan on bringing spices etc. There is a huge grocery store within walking distance, but an Aldi’s less than 2 miles away which is more reasonably priced.
