We offer a Duplex with several cozy bedrooms in a quiet neighborhood near several great locations in the Kansas City area. The bus line is just a block away, which will give you free transportation to many downtown attractions, such as the Power and Light district, or Union Station. If you have a car, many attractions in KC are within 10-15 minutes of driving.
No pet allowed inside the house. No smoking inside the property.
There are security cameras near front and back doors.
The rate is for one guest. Each additional guest will pay $10 per night.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Before checking out, we would appreciate it if you could ensure that all trash bags are securely placed in the designated trash cans.
We kindly ask you to clean up any dirty dishes and return items to their original places, which will greatly assist the cleaning crew, preventing them from spending extra time on these tasks.
Please remember to lock both the front and back doors securely, kindly drop the key into the lockbox. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Our cleaning crew will arrive after 10 am.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
A pet fee of $50 per night per pet, plus a $200 deposit for damages, will be charged for any pets brought into the house.
A penalty of $200 will be charged for smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes indoors. Quiet time between 9pm to 7 am.

Inner City Gem

Revived older top floor duplex in a revived neighborhood. Nice touches and personality. New homes abound on quiet street near the heart of the city. I am a KC native very familiar with all areas of KC and suburbs. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood closest to the city, this is the place.

This looks like an old house where a 2nd floor was added later on. It has some real quirkiness to it. There was some real effort put in place to make it presentable, so a lot of credit goes to the owner. Biggest plus is there was no smell. I got the impression that this is located in the less affluent neighborhood of KC, but the neighborhood didn't look dangerous at all. My wife who's barely 100lbs felt comfortable going on morning walks around the neighborhood alone. The ad says it sleeps 6. but basically number 6 will be sleeping in the living room as the 3rd bedroom can only hold 1. There are window AC units all over so the house (upper level of a duplex) was nice and cool during our stay. The kitchen's hood fan was out of order. It shared an outlet with the AC unit that was there, so I had to unplug the AC to plug in the hood fan. but only the light worked. The supplied pots and pans were adequate for any cooking that I was doing, but the knives were pretty dull. The hum of the AC units pretty much provided white noise for sleeping, but a neighbor's music did keep my kids up one night.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at this location. It was cold the whole Tim we stayed. The control the heat. They was a mouse in the downstairs unit that made the upstairs unit smell bad if you have small kids don’t let them stay there is poison all around the unit. For me it we depressing.
