Everything we needed and close enough to the slopes
The house was clean and well stocked with necessities. We opted to cook most of our meals and the kitchen and dining area was perfect. The fireplace was easy to use and kept us toasty. The views were spectacular. We stayed to go skiing at nearby sugar mountain and the location was good for us. My only feedback is that the listing should say it is a 20 min drive up a steep and windy road. Had there been slow, rain or ice I would have opted to forgo our reservation altogether because of that drive. I could not have imagined driving that road in snow or ice. Fortunately for us the weather was great and it was a non- issue!

Very disappointed family ski trip😔
Our family came for a much anticipated ski trip. We booked this cabin thinking it would be where they dropped the pin location which makes you think it is at the slopes. When we arrived at the main gate we realized we had to drive another 20 min (5.6 miles) up and down a very steep mountain in the snow. It was one of the scariest drives I have ever been on and we were in a 4 wheel drive large truck. Cars had slide off into ditches everywhere and were stuck due to the steep mountain road and the snow. When we finally arrived we realized we were over 30 minutes to the nearest ski slope(not where the pin drop leads you to believe). We own two rental properties on the beach and would never drop a pin 30 minutes away from where our property was actually located😒. The instructions on getting there was very confusing. Arriving there we couldn’t get in with the instructions given. It took both my husband and myself 8 calls just to reach someone who could help us get inside. The house itself was beautiful and very clean. The owners however locked off the closet in the master and there was no place to hang our clothes AT ALL. I would suggest an armoire next to the dresser or even wall hooks at least. The master shower is a rain head that is inches off the ceiling and is so high up that we froze trying to take a shower. Our daughter’s bedroom backed up to two houses and the blinds were broken and removed. We had to hang a sheet just so she had privacy. There were locks all over the kitchen cabinets so we had to put all of our food on the counters. The cabin itself is new and neighborhood is very pretty. I loved that the owners had a Christmas tree still up and the fireplace was very nice. If you are looking to ski this is not where you want to rent unless you like driving 30-40 minutes on and off a mountain just to get there I never leave bad reviews, but this was too disappointing to not be truthful about our experience.
