Lakefront Cabin on Pike Lake Chain w/Sunset View - ATV/Snowmobile Flambeau Trail
Newer four season "A" frame cabin with a sunset view located on beautiful Round Lake of the Pike Lake Chain and Chequamegon National Forest. Cabin is roughly 25 miles west of Minocqua. Access to ATV (Flambeau & Tuscobia Trail) and snowmobile (Price County) trails, this newly built lakeside cabin has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and can comfortably sleep 12 people. Both of the bedrooms on the main floor have a king size memory foam mattress, while each of the two bedrooms upstairs have two full sized memory foam mattresses. All bedrooms have nightstands, closet organizers and bedding. You will need to bring our own towels and toiletries. The cabin has central A/C.
The fully stocked kitchen comes with plates, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, coffeemaker (single cup and full pot), and toaster. The outdoor patio allows for further cooking and entertaining with a Weber gas grill (propane provided). Other amenities include new washer & dryer, YouTube TV (65" Sony Bravia Smart TV), and WiFi.
Take a break from the hustle and bustle by enjoying breakfast, lunch, dinner, or cocktails on a private deck overlooking beautiful Round Lake listening to the loons and keeping an eye open for foxes, deer and eagles. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the dock while you gear up to spend the day on your boat or fishing. The Pike Lake chain has five lakes (2,012 acres) with two bar/restaurants on the water with gas & bait and there are numerous sandy points for children to swim at. We also provide three kayaks and a large swim pad.
A slip is provided at the private dock along with power to plug in boat batteries. All fish need to be cleaned in the fish house.
Don’t feel like boating; ATV/snowmobile trails, shopping, gambling, hiking, golfing, biking and other Northwoods activities are nearby.
At the end of the day, sit back, kick your feet up, watch the picture-perfect sunset, roast marshmallows over the fire pit (firewood provided) and relish the moment at this wonderful cabin in the woods.

The cabin was much more modern and clean than I expected for a "cabin". The whole house was lovely. Owner Mark was a great communicator and I wished I could have met him. Having the dock access, boats and life preservers was a big plus! The stars at nights are fantastic! The only inconvenience was having to supply our own towels. Would stay again.
10/10 would rent this cabin again! From the location to the attentive owners to the overall cabin itself, this is an amazing place to stay! Close to the 4 wheeling trails, great view from the dock, and much more!

Beautiful and tranquil definitely the place to go to relax and unwind. Very peaceful, lovely newer home with some amenities. Owner very responsive and helpful, Would definitely recommend!
Everything about this place was exactly how we wanted it. We loved the chain of lakes and the amount of shore line that was house free. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked for next year as we were leaving, and even booked the 2nd house so we could bring more people with us!

Had a great visit. Weather could not have been better. Super clean. The 3 of us had more than enough space. Firepit off patio is located well to enjoy sunsets. Fished from the Pier and were kept busy.

My wife, kids, and I all enjoyed our time at this cabin for the week. The newly built cabin is beautiful and the location was perfect for us on an excellent chain of lakes. The kids enjoyed swimming off the pier, tubing, fishing, roasting marshmallows by the fire...you name it, they did it. The weather was perfect and the stay at the cabin was one of the best we've experienced. It was plenty big for our family and provided plenty to keep everyone busy all week. Thank you to Mark for sharing such a wonderful place and we hope to be back again.

The house is really clean. Smells brand new ( I think it is brand new ). Owners were a pleasure to deal with. Decorations are awesome , beds were so comfortable. For a group of snowmobilers it’s great. Close to the trail, nice mud room area to hang jackets, bibs and such. Long driveway that accommodated our 4-place snowmobile trailer. Would rent again in a heartbeat.
So perfect I booked for next year already! The cabin is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Everything you need is there. Mark is a wonderful host. You can tell he cares not just about his cabin but about his guests as well. We brought our pontoon and enjoyed strolls around the lakes. Also used the kayaks which were a huge bonus. Beautiful sunsets and relaxing campfires. We are looking forward to going back next year! Thanks again Mark!

We had a group of 8 girls, some of whom had never met. The layout of the cabin was great for this scenario. Plenty of room for all of us to hang out together. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Amazing views of the lake. Even though the weather did not cooperate we had an amazing time. The home owner is very kind and helpful. We are already looking forward to doing it again!

I would recommend this rental to anyone. The property owner was great to work with and the house was very well taken care of and clean. We had booked the property for a snowmobiling weekend but unfortunately mother nature did not cooperate this year so we were not able to ride. We decided to go anyway for a get away weekend and were glad we did. The house was great and there was some good local establishments that were fun and enjoyed our business. We have decided to book this property for our couples snowmobile run again next year. If mother nature cooperates it should be an awesome weekend as we already know the house will be perfect for what we need. Thanks again Mark!!
I really don't know that we can say enough about this property and the owner/Mark... I'll start with Mark, he clearly is proud and excited to share all the fabulous things this home and areas has to offer - recommendations on boat rentals, where to fish on the lake, where to eat, etc. He's very responsive and friendly.
The cabin was impecably clean, brand new and FULLY stocked - from the kayaks/paddle board, to the pool noodles (seriously there were like 10), camp chairs for the firepit, the kitchen had every pot/pan you could imagine, dinnerware/silverware for 16, tons of storage containers (and lids lol), furniture and beds were all very comfortable...
The setting is truly stunning and the sunsets are breathtaking.
We look forward to a return visit next season for sure.

Hilary,
Thanks for staying with us and the nice review. Let us know if you have any recommendations for improvement. We look forward to having you stay with us again.
The house was beautiful, clean, well appointed, and new. Everything that we needed for a nice vacation was available and communication with the owner was excellent.
The only complaint that I had was that there were dogs that have been in this place, and even though it is well cleaned, my spouse still had a pretty severe reaction (it's impossible to clean all the dander without doing a full carpet and duct cleaning). Pets are not allowed currently, but a family was grand-fathered in and their pets were allowed during the first year at the property (and subsequent yearly rentals). To the owner's credit, they were upfront with this.
Otherwise, the place was wonderful.

A Little History
Welcome! We hope you enjoy your stay at Round Lake. For over 40 years our family has been coming to Round Lake. This property was once part of Musky Haven resort owned by the Anderson family. The Andersons still own the lakefront properties to the north of us. In 2008, we were fortunate enough to be able to purchase a property with two of the original Husky Haven cabins—Take It Ezy and Du Kum In. We enjoyed the cabins for over a decade and shared the cabins with other long-time Musky Haven renters. In 2020, we decided it was time for our growing family—15 and counting—to build new cabins so our next generation will be able to enjoy another 40 years of good times at Round Lake. For those of you who rented the previous cabins, you may recognize some old friends like the orange windows, the chairs in the bedrooms, etc. For those of you who are new to the cabin, please know that everything hanging on the walls, sitting above the kitchen cabinets, or scattered throughout the cabin has a long history or connection with Round Lake. Again, we hope you enjoy your stay. Please come stay with us again.
Sincerely, The Buchko Family
Why they chose this property
The majority of Round Lake is part of the Chequamegon National forest and has very few homes...quiet, beautiful lake and sunset views, with easy access to ATV and snowmobile trails. Please enjoy our family cabin!
What makes this property unique
The chain has two bar/restaurants on the water; Moose Jaw on Round and Musky Jack's on Pike. Both establishments have non-ethanol gas and bait.
We have an additional brand new four season lakefront cabin next door that can sleep 10. Easy access to ATV and snowmobile trails without using a trailer.
