Cute house. Street noise is very loud so not super relaxing to spend time outside. The beach was ok, tiny, but my dog had a good time. Bring water shoes, the rocks hurt! There are huge metal walls breaking the beach up between properties. Made it feel unwelcoming and closed off and pretty ugly.

Amazing beach and quiet neighborhood. Clean home. Mostly well appointed. This is definitely a space for families and not friends weekends in my estimation. The host has a significant amount of rules and requests that may be difficult for a disjointed friend group...Great location between great food options. Beach is an absolute star when it comes to rockhounding. Many fossils and even the occasional geode or agate for the well trained eye. Beach was also very quiet most weekdays and you could be the only person on it many days of the week. House was clean and well taken care of. Some important, (to us) areas for improvement kept it from being a five star stay. My major complaint is one small wall unit ac is really not enough for the heat of summer to keep the home comfortably cool. It regularly reached 75-76 degrees for about 12 hours a day on the main ground floor living space that includes the kitchen, living room and two of the bedrooms. The ground bedrooms were often hot enough to be difficult to sleep in. The toilet paper was a very rough single ply and very uncomfortable. Two rolls were given for one weeks stay. One roll of paper towel was given for one weeks stay. 6 towels were given for 6 guests to have one weeks stay with a note advising us to do laundry if towels are a concern. Lastly the DVD player isn't working properly with the tv. I believe it is the RCA to HDMI adapter that is the issue and not the dvd player itself.

Hi Joshua. I’ve owned this cottage over six years and the air conditioning has always been enough. We’re having a particularly hot summer which isn’t normal. As stated on my listing we have a window unit in the living room and one upstairs. I’m sorry you didn’t approve of our toilet paper choice. My family has allergies and only certain brands can be used. Also, nowhere does it state that endless toilet paper and paper towel would be left. Also, it was stated how many towels would be left in the guide I sent you. You were registered for four guests with your in-laws stopping by not six people. I left you a great rating even though there were quite a few items I could have marked you down for including not registering extra guests.

Perfect sized cottage for 4 adults 2 children. Had everythung necessary to make our visit fun. I loved the vintage touch and artistic details in the overall style. Checkin was easy ,beds were comfortable and location was what we needed it to be. Super convenient.

Lovely Cottage
