About this property

This 1 bedroom unit has been 100% renovated. I've seen numerous units in Sapphire Village and this is the nicest, most modern in the complex! New floors, bathroom, paint, furniture, spectacular bar connected to the kitchen, granite countertops throughout, backsplash, 55in flat screens in bedroom and living room and unit has high speed internet/cable TV. It has gorgeous views of the ocean, BVI and St. John from your private patio. It's a 3 minute walk to Sapphire Beach for an excellent day of snorkeling and relaxing. Sapphire Beach Bar has great food/live music. It's a 2 minute walk to two different swimming pools and the marina, where you can do snorkeling trips, boat trips to other islands, including British Virgin Islands. Condo is a few steps from a very nice restaurant/bar, Sudi's, which is awesome! Less than 1/2 mile away is Red Hook which has many excellent restaurants and bars. Condo has a king size bed, full kitchen, living room and everything you'll need for your stay. Split A/C units in the bedroom and living room keep the condo very cool. Full-size fridge, bar with bar stools, patio furniture and games in the condo. Laundry available onsite and TV has Netflix. Onsite maintenance staff are very friendly and responsive.

Location

This beautiful property is located on a very steep hillside. If you have any physical limitations you will find it strenuous/difficult getting back and forth to the condo. The condo is clean and as pictured. I would recommend staying here.

Great place with everything that we needed (beach chairs/beach towels/snorkel equipment). Short walk to sapphire beach and short drive from red hook restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Million dollar view!

We loved our stay in this condo and in Sapphire Village as a whole. Sapphire Beach just down the road was perfect for a day at the beach and a night out as we were there for the last Full moon party of the year. We had breakfast and lunch at Sudi’s which was great! Perfect location so close to Red Hook and the ferry to St. John. We will be back!

Nice stay on a hill with a view

We stayed on the ground floor but still had a great view of the beach and harbor. The condo is well-apportioned and very comfortable. We were not prepared for the uphill hike from the beach back to the condo, though. There is only a difference of 48 feet in elevation, but it is very steep. Our host provided excellent recommendations and instructions for our stay. We truly enjoyed the proximity to shopping, the ferry, beaches, and lots of great food in Red Hook. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful unit, super convenient location.

We stayed Friday-Wednesday at Raleigh’s 1 bdrm Barbados condo unit and we could not be happier. The unit itself is modern and clean, and comfortably decorated, and the view cannot be beat. We appreciated the amenities like the beach chairs/towels, and coolers, as well as toiletries. Sudi’s is wonderful and everything we ordered, delicious! The only thing I would mention is the property, much like all of St. Thomas, is VERY hilly. So if you have mobility issues speak with the owner to determine if it’s right for you. But if you have a car, you can easily use it to go up and down to the beach, Sudi’s, laundry, and big pool. Which might I add both pools And pool areas are fantastic! Thank you Raleigh for a wonderful stay!

Need Improvements

The smell of the unit was not pleasant. It had a smell of mildew. Need to consider changing your furniture to leather so its wipeable. The kitchen window need drapery or otherwise everyone can see in the unit. We only had 1 per adult wash/cloth towel set for a seven day stay. You need a non-slip mat in your bathtub along with grab bars. I fell but thank God I Didn't hurt myself. Consider a greeting package for your guest, snacks, drinks and water. These are just some suggestions.

Beautiful Views, Excellent Location

Me and my boyfriend stayed for three nights over Labor Day weekend. The condo was beautiful, had everything we needed and the bed was nice and cozy. The AC was cool and we kept the ceiling fans on pretty much the whole time. We were disappointed to see that Sudi's was closed the entire time we were there, but the restaurants at Sapphire Beach were just down the hill. We loved that there was a full kitchen and the full living room gave us extra space to lounge around. We spend a lot of time on the balcony enjoying that amazing view. The pics really don't do it justice. Overall we were just so pleased with our stay!

Amazing stay!

The space is clean, well supplied, and absolutely beautiful! The views are post-card worthy! Raleigh was incredibly responsive with any questions or concerns. We rented a car and are glad we did. Red Hook is just down the road (very difficult / dangerous to walk there). Sudi's is a MUST! It is located on the property and the people and the shrimp tacos are divine. Raleigh has everything you need for the best beach days ever! (Umbrella, beach chairs, snorkels, towels, etc.) Truly, an amazing stay. Thank you so much Raleigh for letting us enjoy your piece of paradise!

I highly recommend visiting the Virgin Islands! And moreover, staying here! The place was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. Sapphire beach is a short walk down the hill and there are a few restaurants, a great bar and a really cute store right there. Red hook is only a short cab ride away and there are some really great bars and the ferry is right there. Enjoy!

Taste of Paradise

Ourside looked a little dated but the inside of Raleighs condo was immaculate and very modern. The AC was wonderful and our view was fabulous. There are a lot of hills in St Thomas so there is quite a bit of walking from the condo to the beach but we are exercise buffs so we liked it. Sapphire beach is a short walk away and i swam there every morning after my walk. Raleigh's place has a kitchen, beach chairs, snorkle gear. Its all you need and I'd 100%stay here again. Just a short drive to some great restaurants. Rent a car. Ita worth it but driving at night is a bit treacherous. Overall wonderful stay and loved our VRBO rental.

Great condo close to the beach!

Overall the stay was great! Amazing view of the beach and islands. Raleigh was super responsive, condo nice and clean and great for a work trip. Sapphire Beach is right there! (Condo is at the top of the hill so the walk back up can be tough but I drove down the next time). One of the pools is right outside your door! Very close to the bars in red hook. Only issue was power was out for like 10 hours one day but that was the whole island and not Vrbo fault! Overall great experience and I would stay again on the next work trip to the islands!

I absolutely love vacationing in St. Thomas! It's great to have a place to come to relax and enjoy the gorgeous water and white sand beaches. I'm excited to share my newly renovated condo with you!

Why they chose this property

I really went over the top when renovating this unit! It has all new flooring throughout (even on the patio), granite countertops, backsplash, built in bar by kitchen, two 55 inch flat screens and more. It has high end furniture, bar stools, awesome artwork, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, full face snorkel gear, and coolers. I am steps from one of the pools and have excellent breezes, views, and my location is hard to beat as I'm close to Red Hook, a couple minutes from the beach and steps away from the marina for a day sail, parasailing, fishing, etc. Come and enjoy!!!

What makes this property unique

Sapphire Village is incredibly well maintained and the condo's have amazing views of the ocean as well as the surrounding islands. We have one of the best indoor/outdoor restaurants on the island, Sudi's, and my condo is truly the best you'll find! We have 2 pools onsite, a 3 minute walk to Sapphire Beach, and 1/2 mile to Red Hook, where there are shops, restaurants, bars, and live entertainment!!
