About the host
Hosted by Karleen L Kubat

I am an artist and retired schoolteacher; my husband is a writer and retired Education specialist. We have been renting homes on the Cape for 10 years, so we have used that experience to direct us as to what best to provide for renters to our property. My husband and I enjoy working with people and hosting. Our Cape home is giving us the opportunity to create a special place that we hope will be provide renters with everything they would need to enjoy their time away from home.
Why they chose this property
It is a quiet walkable neighborhood with large yards and an abundance of trees with that "Old Cape" feeling. The beaches, both bay and lake, are easily accessed as is the main arteries on the Cape to get to other areas of interest. The nearby bike path is some of the most beautiful parts of the rail to trail as it takes you along Pleasant lake. We love the short walk to the 1800's Brewster (General) Store and that the Snowy Owl and Brewster bookstore are right down the road on 6A, with Nickerson Park only a 10-minute car ride.
