Wake up 10 feet from the water.

The Cabin sits on a quiet stretch of Lake Norman shoreline in Mooresville, with a private covered dock, slips for up to 3 boats, and wide open-water views. Fish off the dock at sunrise, take the kayaks out before breakfast, and end the day watching the sun drop over the water from the covered porch.

THE SPACE
Single-level home with 2 bedrooms (queen bed in each), 1 full bath, sleeps 4. Full kitchen with island seating, dining table for 6, and a lake-facing living room with TV. Washer and dryer on site, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi throughout.

ON THE WATER
- Private covered dock with room for up to 3 boats
- 3 kayaks and 2 paddleboards for guest use (life jackets provided and required)
- Swim ladder, sun loungers, and a picnic table on the dock
- Fire pit, BBQ grill, and outdoor furniture in the yard

PARKING AND BOAT ACCESS
Room for 20+ vehicles and trailers on the large open yard at the top of the lot. Bring the boat, bring the crew.

The closest boat launch is Stumpy Creek, 5 minutes away by car and about 15 minutes by water. Please note: getting from Stumpy Creek to The Cabin by boat requires passing under the Perth Road Bridge, which has low clearance, especially at Full Pond. Double deckers and cruisers will not fit under this bridge.

THE AREA
Minutes to Mooresville restaurants, marinas, and shops. Charlotte is about 40 minutes south, and Lake Norman State Park is close by.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
All trash (including loose trash) must be placed in the bin at the top of the driveway before leaving the property. $100/bag charge will be enforced.
This 60+ year-old septic system supports 4 guests max. Avoid running the dishwasher, washer, shower, and toilet at the same time.

Lovely place

Great place to stay. Real nice location and great view. Stayed there and competed in the Lake Norman State park sprint triathlon. Plan on staying again if we go back next year.

The cabin was just perfect for a weekend getaway for a few gals who haven't seen each other in years! It was cozy, had cushions for the outdoor furniture (we sat out there for hours) and was easy to check in and out. The neighborhood was quiet and it was an easy drive to local restaurants and activities. It isn't a fancy place, but it sure met our needs! You may want to bring some coffee with your other provisions. We would rent this place again!

Perfect location right in the water. Very nice dock ready for your boat. Everything you need for a great stay. Will be going back to this location next year for a longer stay. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay!

We loved everything! It’s a lake house for sure but was quiet, private, and perfect for what we were looking for. Would love a fenced in yard in the future for pups but other than that it was great! Also enjoyed the kayaks!

This was the perfect cabin on the lake. Literally right on the lake. Kayaks and paddle boards provided as well as a dock slip. Our dog was welcome and had plenty of property to walk around. The cabin is simple and clean. We loved it.

We look forward to staying at this property every summer, and it has truly become one of our favorite annual traditions. From the moment we arrive, it feels like home.The house is exceptionally comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with just about everything you could possibly need, The location simply can't be beat. The lake is absolutely gorgeous, and the property is peaceful, shaded, and incredibly relaxing.Whether you want to soak up the sun on the dock, spend the day on the water using the assortment of lake toys, or simply sit in the shade watching the boats go by and the local wildlife, there's something for everyone. During this visit, we were lucky enough to spot a beautiful doe one morning and a red fox another, making the experience even more memorable.The hosts are wonderful people; friendly, welcoming, and always available if you need them, while also giving you all the privacy you could want.This is a truly special place that we recommend without hesitation.
